Women's Interests Record-Herald Friday, Apr. 25, 1969 7 Washington C. Ohio OAGC Regional Meeting Held.In Mount Sterling The spring meeting of the Ohio Associatior of Garden Clrhs, of Region 16. was held In the United Methodist Church, in Mount Sterling. Wednesday.

Registration was followed by a roffcc hour, served by the of Madison John Scott, ho- clubs County. Mrs. regional director, called the morning session to order and Mrs. Stewart Anderson, Madison contact chairman. jirrotines to the 200 gardeners present.

For the program, Mns. Gordon was County several gardens in the Dayton area and in New Jersey, where the National meeting was held last summer. The following gardeners from' Kayetle County attended the meeting: Mrs. Lewis Thomson, Mrs. Robert Browning.

Kenneth Thomas. OAGC president, who extended greetings to the group. Mrs. Thomas told of the many activities, in the state and announced several dates. Mrs.

J. Cameron Dungan, third vice president and adviser to Region 16. was introduced and spoke briefly. Harry Butler, of Bcllbrook. and a member of the American Rock Garden Society, presented the afternoon program, whose topic "Rock Garden Wonders." He showed many colored slides of his own garden.

Welcomes Guest From Greece Mr. and Mrs. Harold Soldan. 659 Warren were at Port Columbus Thursday at noon to greet Miss Leda Vgenoupoulou, of Athens, Greece, who will be a houseguest of the Soldans for the next three weeks. She came via Africa, where she had been visiting her only brother, in Cameroon.

Miss Vgenoupoulou resided with the Soldans during her senior year of high school as an American Field Service exchange student 1963-64. Since her return to Greece, she has been employed as an interpreter in the Agricultural Bank of Greece, in Athens. The Soldans will be hosts at a reception (by invitation only) from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the parlor of Grace United Methodist Church in honor of their guest. Mark, Mrs.
