Faure and Mr. A. Noble as Deputy Chiefs of the Securities Department Queries and Answers I would appreciate the current position in regard to Bra- lorne Can-Fer Resources Ltd. Will look for your reply in The 'i Journal. Answer: This company reports significant Increases in income and net earnings for the first quarter of 1972.

President F. W. Fitzpatrick reported to the annual meeting in Van couver that total sates amount ed to $57 million, compared with $427,000 in the first quarter of 1971. By R. U.

MAHAFFY FJnendal Editor ef The Journal Cash flow from operations (before income taxes and depreciation) amounted to $911,000 as compared with $51,000 in the 1971 first quarter. Net earnings were $391,000 or eight cents per share against net earnings of $28,000 in the like quarter a year ago. The meeting approved a reso lution changing the name of the company to Bralome JResources Ltd. You will note that the stock is currently trading around $2.15, down from its 1972 high of $2.85. In 1971 net were $151,425, compared with a deficit of $21,284 in 1970.

Assuming the first quarter 1972 results are projected for the full year, the stock is selling about nine times earnings. To make such a projection requires assessment of the company's revenue-producing ventures. This follows from tbe amalga mation of Accra and three other companies to form Xtra Devel opments Inc. Tbe basis of share exchange is one new snare for eight old Accra shares.
