He resided on Upper Stump Road, Chalfont and formerly lived in Lumberville. Born in Atlantic City. N.J., he was tht inn of John and Grace Loughran. He studied art in Paris at the Art Sturtents SLeague and was called upon to exhibit paintings at the 1939. World's Fair.

His paintings are exhibited in the Metropolitan Museum inl New York City; the Trenton Gallery: and Bryn Mawr College Museum. He was commis sioned by the U.S. government on several occasions during hisj itieime. He was a charter member of the Modern Artists of New Jersey. Survivors include his wife.
