They scored a 7-4 win over Brockville Braves in a penalty-filled game in Brockville. The Bears were also involved in two player transactions.

They let two Vanier thumps Richmond Vanier 72s and St. Isidore Eagles made few mistakes in Friday night's Ottawa and District Junior Hockey League action. The '72s romped to a 12-2 triumph over Richmond while the Eagles mastered Embrun '72s by an 8-3 count. Other games were much closer. They saw Carleton Place get by Almonte 6-3, Arnprior defeat Renfrew 5-3 and Hawkesbury shade Navan 4-2.
