Third und Main Street, Royersford Odd Fellows Picnic Is Attended by 150 At Bonnie Brae Park Upwards of 150 members of the Odd Fellows and their families and friends attended the annual picnic of Vincent lodge 762 IOOF, Spring City, at Bonnie Brae park Wednesday night. A special program was presented under the direction of William I. Merkey, chairman of the entertainment committee, who served as master of ceremonies. Ten acts were introduced, the performers being: Tom Osborne, magician Enea Melchiorre, 13-year old singer from Valley Forge General hospital; Sonny Sims, singing soldier from Valley Forge General hospital, Naomi Stoleez, Phoenixville tap dancer; Jane ----Wallers Inral marimba soloist. Also, Tommy Gentile, Debbie Coppedge, vocalist, accompanied on the piano by her sister, Margaret; Richard Coppedge and his trumpet Loretta Pence and Shirley Powell, Royersford, acrobatic stunts, and Patsy and Barbara Rooney, Royersford.

ANNA E. HIMES, 86. widow of George F. Himes, formerly of Birchrunville. died at the home of a daughter, Mrs.

David Harris, 110 PEACH STREET, READING. Wednesday night at 11:45 following an illness of a year. Mrs. Himes was bom in East Vincent township, daughter of the late Samuel and Hannah Detwiler, but lived in Birchrunville until nine years ago. Since then she made her home with her sister, Mrs.

Emma Deery, Kimberton, and her daughter, Mrs. Harris, in Reading. She was a member of Vincent Baptist church, Chester Springs. Surviving are the following children: Matthew. 411 New street, Spring City; Chester, Mrs.

Harris and Mrs. Walter Rissmiller, Reading; Benjamin, Los Angeles, and Percy, Pottstown; also two sisters, Mrs. Howard Oberholtzer, Kenilworth, and Mrs. Deery, Kimberton. Funeral services will be conducted in a funeral home at 331 New street, Spring City, Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, with interment in St.

Matthew's Reformed church cemetery. Post Acknowledges Help at Carnival Capt. Harris Buckwalter American Legion post, Royersford. at monthly meeting last night, acknowledged the co-operation of local police and others who aided at the big carnival held several weeks ago, -bv presentation of gifts. To Police Chief Bryson Turner, who arranged a wrestling bout in which he himself participated, the post presented a traveling bag.

Patrolmen Richard Batturs and Uriah Fox, who handled the crowds, each received a wallet, and Otto Bertz, who was referee for the wrestling bout, also was presented with a wallet. The post also voted a contribution of $10 to the Royersford Recreation fund. This fund is being raised to provide recreation for youths in the new recreation hall of the Baptist church. The post otherwise transacted its routine business and referred the financing of a proposed new post house to a committee to investigate. A meeting of the Home association followed.
