Smith, pastor. Mils Jordan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D.

Jordan, Knoxville. and Mr. Ladner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F.

G. Ladner 559 King street. The double ring ceremony was performed by candlelight, with magnolia leaves and blossoms, highlighted by the candles, placed in the church. The altar was encased in lattice work with ivy and roses, with potted palms accented in various places throughout the church. Music was provided by Miss Dorothy Stone, organist; Mrs.

Theron D. Wilson, pianist: Mr. George Oliver, vocal soloist, and Mrs. W. V.

Jordan, sister-in-law of the bride, vocal soloist. GIVEN IN marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a white of Alencon type of lace with a fitted basque bodice. Peter Pan collar and cap sleeves both edged in seed pearls and a full gathered skirt with full train. She wore matching gauntlets edged in pearls. Her veil of illusion net fell from a tiara edged in seed pearls.

She carried a prayerbook. Miss Virginia Jordan, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. She wore a pale blue sheer crepe dress with cap sleeves, fitted bodice and straight skirt topped with a self peplum. Ladner is from 559 King street. 59th Anniversary Will Be Celebrated By Oak Street Couple On Monday it will be 59 years that Miss Edith Ludwig and Mr. Frank Ernes, both of Baumstown, were married after meeting at a party in the home of a friend only a short time before. Pot ta 30 Attend Banquet Held at Kirkwood by First Baptist Class The annual banquet of the Blue Bird Bible class of First Baptist church was held at Kirkwood Thursday night, with 30 members and guests attending. The tables were decorated with Spring flowers and ivy, and May poles served as favors. Mrs. Millie Welsh, the president, was the toastmistress, and introduced the main speaker for the evening, Mr, Kenneth Gabel, Reading. Mr.

Gabel showed an interesting I display of old fashioned clothes dating back to 1800. He was as; sisted by his wife in showing such articles as shoes, fans of lace, scarves, ladies panties and other slides of models wearing the clothes.
