Page 30 Tues . June 13. 1967 The Ottawa Citizen Early summer weddings recently celebrated .1. and Mrs. Pi'tcr D. Richards ihe former Elaine Cau thorn-Page Elaine Margaret, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Cawthorn-Page of Ottawa, and Peter Dean Richards, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Richards of Ottawa, whose wedding took place at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Ottawa on Saturday, May 6th, 1967. The Reverend Herbert O'Dnscoll officiated. The bride who was given in marriage by her father wore a floor length gown of white satin and lace with a full-length veil and earned a bouquet of yellow sweetheart roses. She was attended by Mrs. Michael Foster as matron of honour. Mr. Neil Bailey was best man and the ushers were the groom's brother. Vincent Richards and Dr. Michael Foster. I) In St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa on May 13th. 1967. the marriage of Donna Elizabeth, only daughter of the Canadian Adviser to the Kenya Government and Mrs. Douglas A. Nesbitt, Ottawa. Canada, and Nairobi. Kenya, to Mr. Michael David Hargrave-Pawson. only son of the late Mrs. Irene Hargrave-Pawson of London, England. The marriage was performed by the Rev. Douglas Aitken, and was followed by a Communion service. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of crystal French satin, fashioned along Grecian lines, round neckline and lily pointed sleeves. The empire waist was studded with tiny seed pearls. A tram fell from the back. Her veil was fingertip and held by a how of Crystal satin. Her only lewelery was a Cameo Pin, a gift from her parents. The bride carried her Confirmation Bible, which was decorated with white orchids. Matron of honor, Mrs. Robin Unkles wore a turquoise crystal French satin floor length gown. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses. Elizabeth V-liitt ouglas A. Nesbitt The bridesmaid and flower girls. Miss Jill Holden. Mlss Diedre Norman and Miss Janet Arkle were dressed alike in pale green crystal French salin floor length gowns. Miss Holden carried a cascade bouquet of yellow-roses. The flower girls carried nosegays of unopened yellow rose buds. The bride's mother wore a floor length tanger-:.c crystal French satin gown with a matching roa: of silk georgette trimmed with satin. Her hat was an Egyptian pill box of tangerine and avocado silk georgette, with acces-sories of avocado. She carried a corsage of yellow orchids. Following a champagne reception at the home of the bride's parents, the couple left for a honeymoon trip to Aliens. Greece: r.'ime, Italy, and London. England For travelling the bride wore a pink tangerine Chanel suit with matching pill box hat. with white accessories. She earned a white orchid corsage.
