A graduate In 1895 of the University of California, Cor bett twice won the medal of honor of the American Institute of Architects. He was chairman of the board of the National Arts Club. The designer of such famous structures as the Bush Terminal in New -York and the Masonic Memorial at Alexandria, Corbett served as architectural chairman of the world's fair at New York In 1935. He is survived by a son, John Maxwell Corbett, of Alexan dria, and a daughter, Mrs, Dennis Peck, of Churchill, Eng land.

(AP) A ten-ton circus truck and trailer ran off a hilly road today, plowed through a field and somersaulted three times, killing teri African pas sengers. Another eighteen were injured seriously. NewS.F.-N.Y. United Air Lines will inaugurate the first nonstop service from San Francisco to New York June 1 when its new six mile a minute DC-7 Mainliners are placed in operation, it was announced yesterday.

The new DC-7's fill fly across frie continent in seven and a half hours, more than two hours loss than the present Mainliner schedules. The planes will carry fifty-eight passengers and have a range of more than 3,000 miles. Warren Burke, United's dis Three Children Heirs of Physician's Widow Mrs. Stella Julia Bailly, widow of a pioneer San Francisco physician, left an estate valued at $294,122 when she died Jan uary 15, 1953, according to an inventory filed with Clerk Martin Mongan yester day. The Inventory, filed by Attor ney Florence McAuliffe, listed $6,949 In cash and a long list of securities, largest items being $92,119 in Socony Vacuum Oil and $109,369 in stocks.

There is also $40,640 property in joint 'tenancy with two daughters. Her will, dated July 29, 1952, names a son, Dr. Edward Bailly 80 San Fernando Way, as executor, and after $8,500 in specific bequests to children and grandchildren, leaves the estate, either outright or through trusts, to her three chil dren, Dr. Bailly, Jean Bailly White, Los Gatos, and Barbara Bailly Sullivan, Stockton. All personal property is to be divided by lot among the children and two grandchildren.

A.G.Kenne Dies at 73 dy Emeritus Professor of English at Stanford Arthur Garfield Kennedy, em eritus professor of English at Stanford University, died yes terday at his Palo Alto home after an illness of several months. He was 73. Professor Kennedy, the au thor of several books on the English language, was an active member of the Stanford faculty from 1914 to 1945.

A native of Weeping Water he attended Doane College at Crete, later receiving a master's degree at the Univer sity of Nebraska and a doctor's degree at Stanford. He resided at 1431 Arcadia Place. Survivors include a son, James M. and a daughter, Kath erine both of Palo Alto; brothers Howard R. and Robert, of Minneapolis, and a sister, Mrs.

Everett Carrick, of Long Beach. Funeral services will be held at p. m. tomorrow in the chapel of Roller and Hapgood Funeral Home, Palo Alto. Inter ment will be private.
