statement that which came to light in the recent TC hearings were violations of Sears policy as well as TC Sears had been accused by the TC of luring buyers into stores with advertisements for especially low priced appli ances and then trying to pres sure customers into buying more expensive models This practice is known as bait and switch There is no penalty involved in TC order Sears only agreed not to use such tac tics in the future But the order ha the force of law and any subsequent violation could cost Sears $10000 per offense Arthur Wood chairman and chief executive officer of
