Zl'i i i.U"j San Francisco's newest residential apartment hotel, the Alexander Hamilton, Is rapidly nearing completion, and according to Joseph Greenback, owner and builder, will soon be open for inspection. This hotel, designed by Albert H. Larson, Is located on the south side of O'Farrell street, west of Leavenworth. It rises 20 stories and contains 500 rooms. The hotel apartment rooms will be an innovation to San Francisco, as the usual wallbed feature will be eliminated.

Each apartment will be a condensed four-room unit, Including a large living room, with an alcove bedroom, combined dinette, and kitchenette, colored tile baths and built-in dressing rooms. Suites are arranged In the most attractive manner and will contain patios, which will be flooded with sunlight and afford a picturesque view of the city. The two top floors are devoted to only three apartments, two of five rooms each and one of nine rooms. Building activity in Hillsborough exceeds that of Beverly Hills in Southern California. This is the word brought back to San Francisco by Lloyd C.
