And Marcel Leroux, who lost 38 acres of his pasture land in the slide, while awaiting some form of Ontario government compensation, evidently believes in the maxim "the Lord helps those who help themselves' Mr. Leroux has posted a sign at his farmyard gate "give generously" and the estimated 5.000 visitors lest Sunday obviously did there were many bills in the corn syrup can with the big slot in the top.
