Aykroyd; treasurer, Joseph Rivoux. Rev. Gerald Fogarty was guest speaker. Mrs. Alex Potvin presided at a meeting of Our Lady of Good Counsel Subdivision of St.

Mary's Parish held in the parish hall. Mrs. Vincent Kealey read the secretary's report and Mrs. John McCann presented the treasurer's report. Rev.

Alphonsus O'Neill welcomed the ladies of St. Anne Society. Plans were made for a turkey dinner to be held jointly with Mrs. Charles Strang as convener October 8 in the parish hall. Shriners' Ladies Club Entertained Mrs.

C. T. Tuck and Mrs. A. H.

Hagar entertained members of the Laurentian Shriners' Ladies Club at Miss Westgate Restaurant Mrs. F. Crothers presided at the meeting. Mrs. Robert McElroy and Mrs.

D. G. McPhail gave reports on club activities. Mrs. M.

Nicholas Larchenko as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jane Greichen, Miss Aeline lon tulle fashioned the bride's gown with fitted bodice, scoop neckline, lilypoint sleeves and bouffant skirt. She wore a shoulder length veil and carried a cascade bouquet of Pinocchio and pink roses. After reception at Chez muras Henry Hotel the couple left for a honeymoon in Montreal and the Laurentians. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly will live in Ottawa. Eggert-Scharfe Wedding In Cumberland Church St. Andrew's United Church, Cumberland, was the scene of the marriage of Gladys Lillian Scharte and Werner Kurt Eggert on Saturday.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Scharfe of Cumberland and the groom is the son of Fritz Eggert of Germany and the late Mrs. Eggert. Rev. G. H.

Dunlop officiated at the 2.30 p.m. ceremony, performed against a setting of baskets of pink gladioli and white mums. Mrs. Percy Findlay played the wedding music and Mrs. Everett Bacon was soloist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and attended by Mrs. Lester Edwards as matron of honor. Miss Doreen Beaton was bridesmaid and Miss Scharfe, niece of the bride was flowergirl. Allan Findlay was best man. Ushers were Bill Hare and Ernold Alexander.

Nylon Organza For her marriage the bride wore a floor-length gown of white nylon organza embroidered with lovers' knots. neckline was decorated with medallions of lace. The gown was worn over layers of net and satin. Her layered shoulder length veil of tulle illusion was held by a pearl and lace scalloped tiara. She wore a baby-pearl necklace and earrings and carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and ivy.

Following a reception in the St. Andrew's Church Hall, Cumberland, the couple left for Algonquin Park, Niagara Falls and the United States. To travel the bride wore a moss green linen 'dress with beige accessories and a black duster coat. The couple will live in Ottawa. CWL Group Plans Tea The first general meeting of St.
