"Fresh air helps to keep children well Keep them in the open air on the porch or roof or in the yard every day. Have them sleep in a room with windows wide open See that your child gets a sun bath every day, but do not let him get sunburned At the end of the summer he should show an even coat of tan all over his body. "Clean milk very important always and especially so in hot weather. Use pasteurized milk from tuberculin tested cows. If you cannot get it, boil the milk for five minutes and cool it at once.

Keep it the ice chest Never leave milk uncovered, as and dirt might get into it. "Orange or tomato juice are necet- sary every day. Some and older children need cod liver oil in their diet in summer. Ask your doctor if you should give it "Give the baby water at regular times every day. "See that the older children drink water freely between meals.

"Do not force the baby or older children to eat more food if he does not want all his meals. It is a mistake to overfeed children in hot weather "Give a bath every day The baby will need an extra sponge bath when it ils very hot "The daily nap or rest is very important in hot weather Many children are tired out at the end of the summer because of the late bedtime and no nap or rest in the faernoon.
