died Friday in her home at Mountain after a long illness. Born at Relds Mills, she was the former Margaret Allen, riaughler of the late Mr. and Mrs John Allen. She was married twice first to John Alien, who predeceased her several years ago, and three years ago to Samuel Crawford. She had lived at Mountain since her second marriage.

Besides her husband she leaves a brother, William Allen of Toronto, and two sisters, Mrs. A Austin and Mrs. George tartf, noth of Wakefield, Funeral will be held at 2 p.m Monday from her home to the United Church at Mountain, where the service will, be conducted by Rev. Gerald Fee. Interment will be in Reids Mills Cemetery.

L. Smith SHAWVFLLE fSpeclai)) Lewis Leonard Smith, 55, station agent for the CNR at Bristol, died suddenly at his home Wednesday following a heart seizure. An adherent of St, Andrew's United Church in Bristol, he was a member of the Order of Railway Telegraphers and for some years wis a nifinnpr or iajl. ryo. diu at Beachburg.

Born in the Beachburg district, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Smith. He work ed for many years on his father's farm, continuing there after his father's death. He joined the railway 15 years ago.

He was stationed first at Cardinal, and was transferred to Bristol a year later. He was married in 1927 to the former Anna Briscoe, who survives. He also leaves two sons, Darwin and Versil of Bristol; two daughters. Miss Beth Smith of Ottawa, and Arlene. at home; and I wo brot hers, William of Beachburg, and Stewart of Castleford.

Basil Lons of Quyort" United Church. Interment was at Norway Bay, Que. Goodfellow Mrs, Charlotte Goodfellow, widow of William Goodfellow, who predeceased her 10 years ago, died on Thursday, in following a lengthy illness. Sim was 81 years of age. Mrs.

Goodfellow was born in Ottawa, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brain. She received her education here and was married in Toronto. She was a member of St.

Luke's Anglican Church. Surviving her are three sisters and a brother: Mrs. H. Pittawav, Ottawa; Mrs, S. S.

McDonald, Bismarck, North Dakota; Mrs. Louis Ewald, Bryn Athyn, Pa and Thomas Brain, Duluth. linn. The funeral will be held at two o'clock Monday, at Hulse and Pla.vfair Ltd. chapel, 315 MeLeod Street.
