She married in Newington almost 60 years ago. Throughout her life Mrs. Ferguson was associated with the Plymouth Brethren and was deeply interested in the christian welfare of the community and missionary work. Surviving her, in addition to her husband, are: one daughter, Mrs. W.

M. Holbrook on Sparks Street and was in business for himself on Rideau Street for many years. Mr. Sayers was quite active in community affairs during his earlier years. He was one of the founders of the B'Nai Jacob congregation and was its first president.

He was married In Glasgow 60 years ago to the former Emma Cibular of Antwerp, Belgium. Mr. Sayers leaves one daughter, Mrs. Lionel Mortimer (Theresa); three grandchildren, including Sidney Mortimer, of Ottawa; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the Jewish Community Memorial Chapel on King Edward Avenue with burial in the Jewish Community Cemetery on the Metcalfe Highway.
