The Saints, playing before a home town crowd of 4,500 fans, took a one-goal lead in the first period, played through a scoreless second session with the Aces and then outscored he visitors, 2-1, in the finale for their margin of victory. Norm McAtee paced the Saints to victory by sniping a pair of tallies with Eddie Bush getting the other Sherbrooke marker.
