Aug. 27 (CP.) The Ontario cabinet today approved the removal of the LiQuor Control Board from the Jurisdiction of the provincial treasury and the transfer of the board to the Attorney-general's Department, Premier Drew said at the close of a cabinet meeting. "It has been clear that two of the main grounds of criticism of the present situation have been connected with law enforcement and restrictions imposed by the Dominion government," the premier said. "Both of these fall more logically under the attorney-general's authority. Bringing the Liquor Control Board under the attorney-general will assure direct relationship between the administration, law enforcement and the various regulations under which the board operates.

"There will be no change in administration until there has been an opportunity for full consultation between the attorney-general and the liquor board," he added. Cancel Contract. The cabinet also passed an order-in-councll cancelling th" contracts of seven companies which failed to erect mlils on limits in northwestern Ontario. The companies are: Pulpwood Supply Company. General Timber Company Huron Forest Products.

Soo Pulp and Paper Products, English River Pulp and Paper Ltd Vermillion Lake Pulp Company and Western Pulp and Paper Company, Ltd. Three of the seven companies. Pulpwood Supply. Huron Forest Products and General Timber have been conducting cutting operations and will be assured adequate cutting rights to maintain employment the premier said. Tourists Admire Ack-Acks Around Quel ces Ulauci QUEBEC. Aur. 27 C.P Anti-aircraft batteries located at strategic points about Quebec's Citadel and the Chateau Fron-tenae during the Churchill-Roosevelt conference remained in position today.

Tourists admired the businesslike looking guns wifh their sky-reaching snouts and fully equipped crews constantly on the alert and in firing position, wearing steel helmets with camouflage netting. But the most completely equipped batteries were on the slopes ef the Citadel and other less conspicuous places, roped off from the public, with brown tents clustered nearby for their crews. It appeared ns though the increased protection afforded the Citadel area during the conference, including the constant surveillance in a wide circle of a pair of fighter craft, would remain until Prime Minister Churchill has left this area, prob-abiythe middle of next week.
