Miss you, Mom C634422 What is Death? Death is nothing at all. I I have only slipped away into the next room.

I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we stillare. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone.

Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without affect, without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same that it ever was. There is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.

Sample verses: Mother or Sister One year has passed since that sad day, When one we loved was called away; God took her home, it was His will, But in our hearts she liveth still. Deep in the earth lies a picture Of a loved one laid to rest. In memory's frame we shall keep it Because she was one of the best. Father or Brother We often think of days gone by When we were all together, A shadow o'er our lives has cast, Our loved one gone forever. You're not forgotten, father, dear Nor ever shall you be; As long as life and memory last I shall remember thee.

Wife or Daughter No one knows our heartaches, Only those who have lost can tell Of the grief that we bear in silence For the one we loved so well. Sunshine passes, shadows fall Love's remembrance outlasts all; And though the years be many or few, They are filled with remembrance of you. Husband or Son Nothing can ever take away The love a heart holds dear. Fond memories linger every day, Remembrance keeps him near. You were always true and patient Through the years you struggled on And those hands that rest forever Made the home that now is gone.

Child He has gone to be an angel, Secure in our Father's care, And his dear little feet now patter along The beautiful streets up there. She was only a little rosebud A sweet little flower from birth, God took her home to Heaven before she was soiled on earth. Friend or Kin We cannot, Lord, Thy purpose see, But all is well that's done by Thee. There is a link death cannot sever, Lord and Remembrance last forever.
