Another party of men w-lio happened to strike the vil-luge on the same evening, were uttr.icted to the hotel by the music, and attempted without invitation, to join with tlie Kiinny sons of Italy in having a good time.

They went to walk unceremoniou.dy into the room, but were told by the occupants that the room would not com fortably accomodate any more, stuuding this information the "visitors endeavored to push their way in. and it is suid ii little uncomplimentary 'language was used by them in doing so. Mr. Grnce evidently suspected they were up to trouble, for he refused to fill their order. This put an end to the matter and the indignant crew left the village "with the determination of getting even with the Italians on some tut tire occasion. What is considered as rather an interesting feature of the row is that perhaps the fn.stest runner, when the Italians showed fight, was a party formerly of Chelsea and now of Desert, who professes to lie a bit of an artist hiinseif in tlie pugilistic arena.
