Humbly would wo endeavor to realize at this time the responsibility that ests upon us. Jn Thy name, we would set up Thy banner.

Were it not in Thy name, l-ord, and simple unfaltering trust in 'Thee our iioarts indeed faint within us- But in Thoo, our God, alone is our trust. In a consciousndss of loyalty to Christ, is our only, confidence. In entire dependence upon the Holy Spirit our oo'y hope. II tho woi we propose to inuag rale to-night bo of men, may it come to naught. II it bo of Thee, Lord, grant us nio.o abundantly the Holy Ghost and wisdom" to make us valiant for the truth, strong to labour and faithful in every duty, and rejoicing to bo counted worthy to suller shame for Thy name.

Hear us in Heaven, Thy dwelling-place, and do for and to us exceeding abundantly above what we can either ask or think for Thy dearXon's sake, Jesus Christ our Lord Our ather, winch ait in heaven, etc. raiNcipi.F.a. The Secretary then read tho following: 1. Tho Reformed Episcopal Church, hold ing tho laitli once delivered unto the Saints, declares its belief in the Holy Scrp- tures of the old and new testaments as the Word ol God, and the sole rule of faith and practice; in tho creed commonly called the apostles creed; in the divine institution of the sacraments of baptism and the Lord Supper; and in the doctrines of grace substantially as they are sot forth in the thirty-nine articles of religion. 2.

D. 17X0, reserving full liberty to alter, abridge, enlarge and amend tho same, as may seem most conducive to the edification of the people, provided that tho substance of the faith be kept entire." This Church condemns and rejects the following erroneous and strange doctrines as contrary to God's word (, That the church of Christ exists only in one order or form of ecclesiastical polity. That Christian ministers are priests in another sense than that in which all believers are a royal 'priesthood -That the Lord's Table is an altar on which tho oblation of the Body and mood ol Christ offered anew to the Father; That the presence of Christ in the ixird supper is a presence in tho elements of bread and wine Fifth, That Regeneration is inseparably connected with Baptism.
