REVIVAL SERVICES Feet Washing Ceremony by Breth ren Church More than four hours of exhorta ions by clergymen hlsrh in theti. faith, the participating in the auaint custom of feet washing, and in conclusion celebrating their semi annual love feast, brought to an end on Sunday the revival services In the Church of the Brethren, which began on Saturday tne sermons were delivered by half a dozen ministers from various cities and counties near by. Among them are Rev. Mr. Yoderl pastor of the Lancaster Church of the Brethren; Rev.

John C. Zug, presiding elder of the Reading Conference; Rev. Mr. Snyder, of Baumstown. and Mr.

Kline, who, in the absence of Rev. Mr. Zug, conducts services in the Reading church. After the sermons, the annual custom of washing the feet of the members began. In this the men wash one another's feet and the women those of each other.

This is done in commemoration of Christ washing the feet of his disciples. Preparations have been made for the seating of a large number of people at the love feast which follows the washing of feet. Two long tables have been nlaced in the basement of the church. At one of them the men are seated. nd at.

the other the women. Thn men have prepared their own feasts. nd will serve each other, the women doing the same thing. During the feast there are exnressinns of love toward one another by the members, and the showing of their good will to all with the "holy kiss." RICHARDSON NOT OCT FOR WOKKMKVS RKFKRF.i: Edgar S.
