Queen, who lived at 5619 Cran-dall, Howell. Michigan and who died 9-30-83; be admitted to probate. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor. Born September 5, 1923, in River Rouge, he was the son of Alfred and Mamie (Denno) Letourneau. He and his wife, the former Elfriede J. Scholl, moved to the community 13 years ago from River Rouge. Mr.

Letourneau was a supervisor of maintenance for Whittar Steel Strip Corp. He was a member of the Melvin-dale V.F.W. Post 6032, Military Order of Purple Heart 127 and the Association of Iron and Steel Engineers. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was discharged as a staff sergeant on November 30, 1945.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Alfred W. of Allen Park, and Mark W. of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two daughters, Loretta Maye of Livonia, and Vicky of Howell; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Oliver of Mesa, Arizona. Services were July 27 from Mac-Donald's Funeral Home with the Reverend Father Gilbert Rahrig of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Howell officiating.

Burial was at the Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, with V.F.W. military honors by the Melvin-dale Post officiting. A graduate of Pinckney High School, Mr. Nash was a fanner and worked for the Michigan State Highway Department. He was a member of Peoples Church of Pinckney.

Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Rosalie Zill of Ann Arbor, Barbara Bekkering of Howell, Mary Jane Clark of Dexter, Nancy Meeden of Aimes, Iowa, Rachel Heldt of Mosinee, Wisconsin, and Martha Parrish of Howell; a son, David of Madison Heights; 21 grandchildren; three sisters, Zelma Johnstone of Wisconsin, Isabel of California, and Ruth Smith of Pinckney; and a brother James S. of Coldwater. Services were July 29 from the Peoples Church. Burial was at North Hamburg Cemetery with the Reverend Charles Rasmussen officiating. William Gott William E.

Gott, 71, Orleans Court, Howell, died July 27 at the University Hospitals, Ann Arbor. Born October 24, 1913, in Yorkshire, England, he was the son of John W. and Ada (Casey) Gott. In 1940, he was married to the former Margaret L. Titus in Manchester, New York.

They moved to the area 35 years ago from Detroit. He was a plant manager for Wilson Dairy. Mr. Gott was a member of the Howell Elks Lodge 2168 B.O.P.E., the American Legion, 408 club, and the Young and Heart. He served in World war II as a master sergeant and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Winifred Pridville and Katherine Walling; and two brothers, Leonard and John Gott, all of New Hampshire. A mass was July 30 from St. Joseph Catholic Church of Howell. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the Reverend Father Gilbert O.

Rahrig officiating. A rosary was recited July 29 at Mac-Donald's Funeral Home. Donda Smith "Donda C. Smith, 45, 5408 Canterbury Brighton, died July 25 at home. Born August 14, 1939, in Reyno, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Ralph and Cecil (Tanner) Weaver.

On June 15, 1973, she was married to Patrick L. Smith In Walled Lake. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Brighton Church of Christ and the Livingston County Arts and Crafts Association. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Richard Deene Merrill and Ray Merrill, both of Brighton; a daughter, Mrs.

Jon Robin Roberts of Commerce Township; a grandson; her parents of Walled Lake; a brother, Ladwain Weaver of Walled Lake; a sister, Mrs. Victor (Bonnie) Martinez of Commerce Township; and several nieces and nephews. Services were July 27 from the Brighton Church of Christ with Bradley McFaul officiating. Burial was at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi. Memorial contributions in Mrs.

Smith's name are suggested to the Brighton Church of Christ. Envelopes are available at the Keehn Funeral Home. VeraDeWitt Vera D. DeWitt. 89, 400 Cedar River Drive, Fowlerville, died July 28 at home.

Born May 28, 1896, in' Detroit, she was the daughter of John and Valeria (Ber-sky) Piasecki. Mrs. DeWitt was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Fowlerville. Survivors include a son, William R.

Paige of Walled Lake; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Services were July 31 at St. Agnes. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the Monsignor Walter E.

Mehm of St. Agnes officiating. A rosary was recited July 30 at Dillingham Funeral Home. Hugh Brennan A Mass of the Resurrection for Hugh F. Brennan, 88, Rockford, formerly of Argentine Road, Linden, is set for 11 a.m.

Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Deerfield Township. He died July 29 at home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, in 1977. Survivors include four sons, John and Martin of Jackson, Hugh Brennan Jr.

of Birmingham, and William of Hawaii; three daughters, Anne MacLachlan of Rockford, Christine Wolodzko of Detroit, and Katherine McLeod of Linden; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Rosary will be read at 8 p.m. Wednesday from 11016 Argentine Road, Linden. 1 Olive Mildred Tassie, 80, Chandler, Arizona, formerly of Brighton, died July 21 at the Maricopa County Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona. Horn August 17, 1904, in Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of Frederick and Florence (Shular) White.

On April 14, 1920, she was married to George L. Tassie is Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, moving to Brighton in 1969 from Farmington. Mr. Tassie preceded her in death on May 4, 1978. Mrs.

Tassie was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Kathleen) Booth of Chandler; two' grandsons; two great-grandsons; six sisters; a brother; and several nieces and nephews. A prayer service was held at Bueler Mortuary, Chandler. Burial was at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.

Peggy Parshall Peggy J. Parshall, 56, Willow Lane, Howell, died July 23 at Providence Hospital, Southfield. Born January 2, 1929, in Litchfield, shewas the daughter of Nelson Jacob ahd'Golden (Tait) Bender, i On July 24, 1952, she was married to Jesse Robert Parshall who preceded her in death on November 20, 1976. i Mrs. Parshall was a retired telephone (operator for Michigan Bell Telephone.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Kathleen) Nixon of Howell, Mrs. Dennis (Jacqueline) Lesko of South Lyon and Mrs. Dale (Sheryl) Williams of Dover, Delaware; a son, flesse R. Parshall Jr.

of South Lyon; six grandchildren; her mother of Ann Arbor; and a brother, Donald Bender of Tampa, Florida. Services were July 25 from Mac-Donald's Funeral Home. Burial was at Riddle Cemetery with the Reverend Donald E. Williams of the First Baptist Church of Howell officiating. Memorial contributions in Mrs.

Par-shall's name are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Raymond Kane Raymond J. Kane, 78, Howell, died July 27 at the Hospice of Livingston County. Born March 28, 1907, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of James and Josephine (Perkins) Kane.

Mr. Kane moved to the community two years ago from Detroit. He was a retired chef and was retired from the Merchant Marines. Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Mt. Clemens; two sons, Raymond D.

of Howell, and Ira of Mt. Clemens; 12 grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren: a sister. Pauline of Cin Frank Spagnuolo Frank Santo Spagnuolo, 49, 228 Power Street, Fowlerville, died July 23 at McPherson Community Health Center, Howell. Born March 22, 1936 in Fowlerville, he was the son of George C. and Ellen T.

Diamante Spagnuolo. Mr. Spagnuolo graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1953 and attended Quincy College and the University of Detroit. He was married to the former Susan Buys. Mr.

Spagnuolo joined the family business of Spagnuolo Confectionery, Howell, in 1957 and was its owner. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Fowlerville, the National and Michigan Ice Cream and Confectioners Association. Mr. Spagnuolo created the Howell Melon Ice cream in 1961 and was given the Grand Award from the Regional Agricultureal Development Society for the State of Michigan.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Susan Charron of Alameda, California, Jennifer Fields of Fowlerville, Cynthia, Elizabeth and Leticia, at home; five sons, Frank of Norfolk, Virginia, George, Patrick, Anthony and Nicholas, all at home; his parents of Fowlerville; four sisters, Mary Moody of Lansing, Dorothy Capurro of Huntington Beach, California, Anne DeRose of Lansing, and Lenore Cascarelli of East Lansing; and six grandchildren. She was married to Fred L. Thompson on June 19, 1920 in Detroit. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1976. Mrs. Thompson studied dress making under a French dress designer in Detroit.

She moved to the community in 1946 from Byron. Mrs. Thompson was a dressmaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Howell Garden Club and was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society of Howell. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Myron (Katherine) Gallagher of Harrietta, Mrs.
