Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Ludwig have returned from their honeymoon in Europe, where Mrs. Ludwig was introduced to his parents and other relatives in Germany and where the newlyweds went sightseeing. They are now icsiding at 305 Catalpa St.

Rev. W. Mehlberg left Tuesday morning tor a 3-week Holy Land tour and Mediterranean cruise. The trip is an appreciation gift from members of Trinity Lutheran Church, which he has served for 35 years. The Douglas Nerge family are now occupying the apartment at 125 Bokelman St.

Lauterbach, 19 W310 Thorndale Road, upon his 92nd birthday, Friday, July 30 Mr Lauterbach, to this reporter's knowledge is the oldest male resident of this area, having lived since 1926 on his larm which lies between Pierce Road, (formerly Nerge Road) and Thorndale, just west of Arlington Heights Road. He was bown in Meriden in LaSalle County, 111. where both he and Mrs Lauterbach resided prior to locating al Itasca. As Mrs.

Lauterbach so aptly put it "he has been blessed with exceptionally good health and vitality" and still enjoys "puttering" about the farm residence. They have two daughters, Anne, a teacher living at home, and Mrs Forest Warren, residing at Falls Church, Va There are two grandchildren, Mary Ann and Richard Warren.
