NEIGHBORING DEATHS AND FUNERALS JOHN F. KARR WILLARD, July F. Karr, 70, a resident of 411 Clark- st, died Tuesday in Municipal Hospital after an illness of several months. He was born in Brinkhaven, Holmes-co and came to Willard in 1910 to work on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. Mr.

Karr retired in 1946 after serving as a passenger engineer on the Chicago division. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and charter member of the Willard Elks Lodge. Surviving are his widow, Myrtle; a son, Thonlas and daughter, Mrs. Thelma Sherick, both Willard; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fink Funeral Home, where services will be held at 3 p.

Burial is to be in the Willard Cemetery. MRS. ALICE MURDOCK WILLARD, July Uice Murdock, 86, a native of Michigan, died Tuesday in Municipal Hospital after an illness of two months. For the past 35 years she has resided with a daughter, Mrs. L.

J. Weaver, 104 Motson-st and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Surviving besides the daughter are two grandchildren, four grandchildren and a brother and three sisters in Michigan. Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 9 a. m. Thursday in St. Francis Xavier Church, the Rev. J.

Mehling, officiating. Burial is to be in St. Joseph's Cemetery here. Funeral Home in charge. Mr.

Dougherty a retired stone mason, came to this community from Cleveland 26 years ago. Since that time he had been operating a small farm. He was a member of St. MaryV Church and- its Holy Name society. Surviving are his vvidow, Nellie; two daughters, Mrs.

Albert Schaefer, Cleveland and Mrs. Carl Fritz here; son Cleveland; four grandchildren, i sister, Mrs. George McGrath, Cleveland and a brother William in alifornia. FLOYD VEON VERMILION, July Floyd Veon, 66, a resident of Edgevvater Beach, east of here, died this morning in Lakewood Hospital. He suffered a heart attack Tuesday while driving his car through Lakewood and was taken to the hospital. Mr. Veon was superintendent of construction for the Dover Tank Plate Dover, O. and erected many highway bridges in this area, including the Route 2-6 bridge over the railroad tracks east of here.
