Grundmark, 505 East Filer street with Mrs Jack Cronenwett 0-hostess. The slides were shown by Carleton Chinnery, who told of his experiences and explained the slides as they were shown. Mr.

Chinnery also displayed souvenirs he had collected in Korea and answered questions asked by members. During a business session conducted by Mrs. Karl Hawley, president. members plan to hold mage sale Saturday, April 'Fumt Community churchhouse. Mrs.

Russell Hayford will be chairman of the sale. Pleasing refreshments were served by the hostesses at close of the evening. Next meeting will be April 20 at the home of Mrs. Ivan Tillotson, 100 Franklin street with Mrs. Valdo W.

Smith co-hostess. Mrs. Soren Ericksen Is Honored on Her 83rd Birthday Anniversary Mrs. Soren Eriksen of East Dowland street, who observed her 83rd birthday anniversary, Good Friday, was honored Saturday by friends who called at the many Eriksen home. Mrs.

Eriksen's daughter Mrs. Clinton Skifstad of Lansing. Mrs. M. Iversen, Mrs.

William Nickelsen and Mrs. Carl Eriksen assisted in serving the guests. Featured in lovely refreshments were three beautiful birthday cakes baked by Mesdames Iversen. Nickelsen and Armour Odean. Mrs.

Eriksen, honored guest ceived many lovely greetings, gifts, and flowers in remembrance of the occasion. Among the guests Mrs. I Alice Benson and children, Mrs. Marius Obel, Mrs. Fred 0.

Ivy Reene, Raymond Plank and Sandra, Mrs. Albert Speer Children's Group Holds Meeting at Luther Hall Children's Missionary society of Emanuel Lutheran church met Saturday afternoon at Luther hall. The meeting opened with singing of hymns "In the Temple," "The Bible" and "Jesus Loves Me." The children were accompanied by Sandra Landin at the piano. Scripture reading and prayer were given by the Rev. Dr.

J. A. Landin, pastor. Mrs. Walter Ke son, leader, read a story "Friends of Jesus Know He Is With Them Always." Children of the group enjoyed working with various projects to be sent to foreign missions.

At close of the afternoon refreshments were served by Mrs. John Barrington and Mrs. Robert C. Taylor. Debra Grant and Barbara Jane Thompson were guests.

Members present were Marilee and Luanne Clausen, Karen Bell. Sandra Landin. Douglas and David Christensen, Mary Gwen and Bobby Barrington. Tom and Mary Keson, Suzi Quinn. Rickey Taylor and Mrs.

Keson, Mrs. Robert Christensen, Mrs. Gerald Heslipen, Mrs. Barrington and Mrs. Taylor.

Richard Ferris Honored at Party Richard Ferris. who recently observed his 12th birthday anniversary, was honored, March 30, at a delightful party to which 20 of his friends were invited. The party was given by Richard's mother Mrs. Clarence Ferris of 801 East Foster street. A beautiful birthday cake.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a pastel pink suit with matching accessories. She carried a bour.uet of white Miss Snyder, maid of honor. wore a navy blue suit with pink sories and carried pink carnations in her bouquet.

Mrs. Oliver, mother of the bride wore a beige dress with black velvet trim with which she wore beige accessories. Mrs. Branstner, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in a brown dress with winter white accessories. Both wore corsages of pink carnations.

The bridegroom, who was graduated from Lincoln high school in Ferndale in January is employed General Boats, Inc. He expects to leave shortly for the armed services. Mrs.

Birtwistle, until Wednesday, April 15.
