"Unsolved Mysteries" is a one-hour documentary program covering four or five different criminal cases that have police baffled in some part of the country. The most recent episode of the program, hosted by Robert Stack, was seen last Sunday. The program helped a 17-year-old South Lyon murder earlier this year.

After the program aired, viewers in Altoona, who recognized the suspect called police and the murderer was under arrest within a week. "It was a direct result of people watching the show and recognizing his face," Moraes said. "This (Rose Township murder) is one of those cases where maybe with a little bit of exposure we could help solve this case." Moraes could not say when the episode would be shown, but a field producer told Bergsma it might be in January or February. Meanwhile, Bergsma is still after Stricklin. He is one of the 10 most wanted people on the FBI's fugitive list.

But if he is found and arrested in the next month, the detectives will lose their shot at fame. "Doesn't bother me. I'd rather get the guy, you know," Bergsma said. Eve Party Sale!
