E. E. GKIESEMEtt. THE TICKET. The ticket ef the State Rights Democraoy formed by a direct vote of the people, which we announced in yesterday's Times, and in the Berks County Demokrat, is one of which all the friends of our cause may fell justly proud.

The Opposition know this full well, and already see the hand writing upon the wall. The ticket for Assembly is an admirable one. Such names as David If. Hgttes stinb, John B. Hoixowat, and Jonathan Klopp, are in themselves a sufficient guarantee, against corrupt legislation.

They are li able and highly honorable men. The choice of Albert G. Gbeen, for District Attorney, we are satisfied will give general satisfaction. His undoubted strict business habits, make him admirably fitted for the post. As to Dr.

John G. Spatz, the candidate for Sheriff, every body cob cedes that he ought to have been nominated, and that he will be elected. There could not have been a better selection made for Treasurer than Daniel Shepp if honor and integrity are of any weight in the community, lis election will be certain. The choice of Hkxky Riegal for Commissioner) is a good one, he is an active business man, and we believe will attend to the duties of the office (faithfully. The selection of the remaining officers, Isaac Hcyett for the Director of the Poor, John S.

HoX'Snet for Auditor, and Wm. Le van for County Surveyor, must give general satisfaction. We predict that the whole ticket will be triumphantly elected. We are grat i3ed to learn that all who entered into the contest for the nomination, are entirely satisfied with the ehoics of the people, and will give the ticket their cordial and hearty support. JG We learn that in the North East Ward there was quite an animated contest for settling as to who should be delegates to the Office Holders Convention.

There were no questions asked persons irho eaae to vote, as in times gone by. Every vote offered was taken, and we believe our friends Beyer and McKenty carried the day. The October leotion will however settle the dispute among amiable gentlemen, by the election of State Rights Democratic Ticket. The selec tion, of Delegates in the other Wards were conducted more harmoniously. They eeem to understand the hand writing on the wall, and therefore believe it to be of little use to trouble themselves about the nominations.

Lehigh Cocxtt Items. From the emo trat and Register we glenn the following items It is contemplated to erect a new Iron Furnace in the vicinity of Allentown.
