The annual burden of filing state and federal tax returns can be considerably lightened through a ew simple precautions.

We are fortunate here in Massachusetts that we have had little difficulty with "fly- y-night" income tax consultants. Occasionally, however, a dishonest or incompetent individual hangs out his shingle. The wise consumer and taxpayer therefore will be leary of eing victimized.
