15 (U.P). -Erskine Ramsay, 89, millionaire bachelor who gave away more money than anyone else in the history of Alabama, died tonight. Ramsay, mechanic and inventor left his monuments scattered throughout his adopted state. Buildings were named in his honor by scores of institutions endowed by his gifts. He had made it possible through scholarship funds for hundreds of youths in Alabama and his native Pennsylvania to get an education.

Ordynski was chief producer at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York for four years, and during his years with Reinhardt worked in Berlin, London, Leningrad and Boston. He lived at 150 Remsen Broklyn. MARSH N. TAYLOR Rochester, Aug. 15 -Marsh N. Taylor, 70, presiding justice of the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, died today in Highland Hospital.

Taylor was elected to the State Supreme Court in 1927, and in 1937 was appointed to the Apvellate Division by Gov. Lehman. He was appointed presiding justice by Gov. Dewey in 1945. MRS.
