Thank him for the life he gave, for all the things we had. We think about the fleeting years, too quickly, gone for good. It seems like only yesterday. We'd go back if we could.

A time when Dad was always there, no matter what the weather. Always strong when things went wrong. He held our lives together. He strived so hard from day to day and never once complained. With steady hands, he worked so hard and built the family name.

He taught us that hard work pays off, you reap just what you sow. He said that if you tend your crops, your field will overflow. Our life has been bountiful, he taught us how to give. In his gentle, loving and funny ways, he taught us how to live. Dad dwells among the angels now, he left us much too soon.

He glides across a golden field above the harvest moon. We see him in the summer rain. He rides his Harley upon the wind, and when the pain has beaten us down, he picks us up again." Every day we hear you in our heads and feel you in our hearts. We will forever. You are the light we follow.

You are our tomorrow. We. Miss. You. Love, Rach and Josh Lee J.

i. William A. Clement 1947 2013 EDMOND William A. Clement, known affectionately to his friends and family as Bill or Buzz, passed away on September 8th at age 66, surrounded by his family. A brilliant geologist, avid outdoorsman, and dedicated family man, he will be greatly missed by his wide circle of family, friends, and colleagues.

Born in 1947 in Sa-gaponack, Long Island, New York, Bill attended Sagaponack School, Bridgehampton Elementary, and Southampton High School before graduating from the State University of New York at Oneonta. It was there that he met the love of his life, Marilyn. After their marriage, the couple traveled to Corpus Christi, Texas for Bill's first position as a Geologist at Conoco. Bill later served as Vice President and Exploration Manager for An-Son Corporation in Oklahoma City. Most recently Bill was Manager of Clement Resources, LLC, President of Stone Canyon Exploration and a consulting geosci-entist for Range Resources Corporation.

He belonged to, and published articles for, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Oklahoma City Geological Society. Bill practiced his profession as a geoscientist with passion and persistence. He infused his work with an optimism that was both boundless and uplifting to those around him. For forty years, Bill constantly honed his skills in both geology and geophysics in an unending quest for discovery. He relished his life's work and was greatly respected by his many friends and colleagues.

Although he was dedicated to his profession, Bill's greatest love was reserved for his wife and family and he always let them know they came first. His absence is deeply felt by his wife, Marilyn; children, Adrienne, Jessica, and James; sons-in-law, Joe and Jeff; daughter-in-law, Jessica; grandchildren, Hunter, Aaron, Dashel and Cooper; sisters, Penny and Marcia; and brothers, John and Chris. Austin later transferred to Northwestern at Alva, where he met and married Betty Halstead, Northwestern's Ranger Queen. Betty passed away in 1991.

Austin and Betty had two children: son, Jack Barragree and wife Marilyn, of Oklahoma City; and daughter, Jan Robinson, of Enid. Austin was a member of the Methodist Church at all stops in life. At the First United Methodist Church in Enid, he met Edna Kneeland Specie in his Sunday School class. One evening Edna invited him over for pot roast and a new chapter of Austin's life began. Finding a second chance at love and life, Austin and Edna married in 1994 and had 16 golden years together before she passed away in 2010.

Austin's service in the Navy during WWII entitled him to residence in the Norman Veterans Center, where he lived, was well cared for, and much loved for the last three years of his life. Throughout his career and retirement, Austin was a great supporter and advocate for public education. A scholarship fund has been established in his name to continue this legacy.
