Pinkerlon Of Stanlon Dies STANTON (RNS) William Lewis Pinkerton, 53, died after a heart attack Saturday morning, about 11:30 a.m. in Midland. He had lived most of his life in Stanton before moving to Midland a few years ago.

Funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Stanton Church of Christ with Doyle Corder, minister, officiating. Gilbreath Funeral Home will be in charge of burial in Big Spring Trinity Me- CISCO (RNS) Mrs. Marian I. Smothers, 80, of Houston, died late Friday in Graham Hospital here after an apparent heart attack.

She had been visiting in the home of her son, Jim Smothers, manager of the local chamber of commerce. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hurtzler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in City Cemetery in Hallesville. Rust Funeral Home of Cisco was in charge of local arrangements.

She was born Aug. 30, 1886 in Morales and was married to Edwin Smothers April 9, 1908 there. Surviving are a son. Jim of Cisco; a daughter. Mrs.

Reaves was a Texas Pacific Railroad assistant car foreman and had worked for the company from 1919 until 1956.
