Fairbanks Agency Co. Vaughan O. Green, deputy United States marshal at Wiseman, succumbed to heart trouble at St. Joseph's hospital Sunday morning. Mr.

Green was orougnt here by airplane February 12. He was so no hopes for his recovery were entertained. Surviving him at Wiseman are his wife, Mamie Green, and two children. Mr. Green was bom in Iowa 54 years ago.

He had been a resident of Wiseman since 1921, having gone there from Nenaca. He a member of the Wiseman igloo of the Pioneers of Alaska -and of the local aerie of Eagles. Funeral services will be held at Eagle Hall Friday at 2 p. m. under the auspices of the latter organization.
