THE SANDUSKY MARCH 1946- Club Activities Children's Choir Sings As Frances Polito And Edmund John Stewart Exchange Vows HE children's choir at Holy Angels' Church sang the nuptial high mass at nine o'clock this morning as Miss Frances Polito daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Polito, 1210 W. Madison-st, became the bride of Edmund John Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs.

E. L. Stewart, 1206 W. Jefferson-st. Bouquets of white snapdragons and ferns stood in the gold altar vases as the Rev.

William Armitagc read the Society Events of City and Vicinity FIVE Personal Mention service which united lbs couple. The bride who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white marquisette, with a sweet Willi blue trimmings. The bride's grandmother, Mrs. Charles Palmi- son, wore a crepe dress of dark shade and Mrw. Stewart, mother of the bridegroom, wore a black crepe heart neckline, and tiny bows out-l ock with aqua accessories.

All 'three had whits carnation corsages. A wedding breakfast at the lining the bodice. The three-quarter length sleeves had ruffling at the edges, and the full skirt ended in a short train. Her finger-tip veil was held in place with a tiara of seed pearls. Her flowers were a colonial bouquet of white snapdragons and roses.

Miss Mary Jane Cosenlino, who attended the bride, wore a gown of pale blue voile. Brocaded trimming outlined the neck and finished the long full sleeves. A matching blue Juliet cap held a shoulder-length blue veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink snapdragons, roses and blue iris and her gold cross was a gift of the bride. Joseph Thompson, a cousin of the bridegroom, was the best man.

Altar boys were Peter Culickio, Dale James Gosser, and Bertrand Baumer, members of the bridegroom's Boy Scout troop. Miss Doris Barga, church organist, presided at the organ during the high mass. Preceding the ceremony. Walter Kirschn-er, of Huron, sang Millard's "Ave Verum bride's home followed the morning ceremony. In the afternoon a dinner was held at Johnny's Restaurant for members of the wedding party.

This evening Mr. and Mrs. Stewart will receive their friends at an informal reception to be held the K. of P. hall.

Mr. and. Mrs. Stpwart plan to take a short wedding trip, for which the bride will wear a black gabardine ensemble. Upon their return, they will be at home to their friends at the home of tire bride's parents.

Mrs. Stewart was graduated from Sandusky High school in 1940. and until recently was a member of the office force at the U. S. Employment Service.

The bridegroom was graduated from St. Mary's High school and received his B. S. degree from Bowling Green University in 1942. He is employed in the office of the Peerless Lumber Co.

She carried an arrangement of white roses and gardenias, and also a blue rosary, a gift of her mother. Miss Shirley Claire Baumer, a student at Mother of Mercy Academy, attended her sister as bridesmaid. Her gown of blue taffeta was styled similarly to that, of the bride's: and she wore a pink finger-tip veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and iris. Duane Koepke, a close friend of the bridegroom served as best man.

Ushers were Robert Pontius, of Toledo, brother-in-law of the bride, and Albert Fresch. a friend of the couple. In China, he directed a great chorus of many hundreds of voices and upon receiving his advanced degree in education plans to return immediately to China to re- sumo his work there as dean of the National Conservatory of Ministry of Education. His family is a member of one of the Royal Dynasties ruling for many centuries in China. While in Sandusky, he plans to visit the public schools music department and to study the educational system in use for the leaching of music in the public schools, under the supervision of Miss Pietsehman, supervisor. The bridegroom, now in the poultry business on Front-st in Milan, attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Capizzi chose a brown cnsemblo highlighted by a corsage of yellow roses. Mrs. Emmelt Hinkley. of Norwalk, a sister of the bride wore a black and white outfit. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the Capizzi residence.

Reynolds will officiate. Albert Klickman, Fremont, only brother of the bride, will give her in marriage. Harold Williams, Wooster, will be best man and Miss Wendy Hoffman, Irwin, will be maid of honor, Ray and Harold Sperber, Erje-tp, will serve as ushers. Miss Klickman is a graduate of the Port Clinton High school and of Toledo University in 1941. SJO taught in a Toledo school until joining the United Air Lines as a stewardess in September, 1943.

Col. Clark, who recently received his discharge from the Army is personnel educational director of the M. O'Neal Akron. Following the ceremony a reception will be held in the church basement. The couple will reside in Akron.

Approximately $16,500 has been invested in the property since Sandusky Conference of the United Brethren Church purchased the building two years ago. The major portion of the remodeling, to change the building into a church and parsonage, was done by some 35 of the Conference ministers who drove here from points 20 to 130 miles distant to work. In addition, there are 150 churches in the Conference who have contributed to the payment of the investment, and there is. no debt, on the church properly at this time, the Rev. Mr.

Pringle states. The local pastor and leading ministers of the Conference will do the preaching at the special services next week. The Rev. C. E.

Miller of the Toledo Somerset Church will preach Sunday evening; Dr. C. V. Roop of the Galion Church, Monday evening; Ihe Rev. John Searle, of the Bowling Green Church Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

The Rev. O. E. Johnson of the Toledo Upton- av Church will be the speaker on Thursday evening, and Dr. J.

11. Dutton, pastor of the Lima Church will preach Friday evening. The Conference Superintendent, Dr. H. Allman of Blufi'ton, will preach at both the morning and evening services on Sunday, March 10.

June 23 has been set as the date of dedication for the church and parsonage. CINDERELLA CONTEST! Fremont School Board Has Building Program FREMONT, March 2 Fremont's board of education is planning a major building program in the future, evidenced by Congressman Alvin F. Weiehel, who announced that the Federal Works Agency in Washington had approved requested funds to finance advance planning. Seven projects are being considered by tlie board. Announcement of advance funds covers only two improvement projects, one for Croghan school, and the other for Slamm school.

Weiehel said that $0,228 had been advanced for the Croghan building, and $6,480 for planning for the Stamin addition. Allcnlion Please!
