There are choppy rivers and swirling rapids. And when the river becomes un-navigable, or the lake ends . . . there is always a "carry." 'A "carry" isn't easy. You have to shoulder you- duffle-packed craft and make your way slowly overland to the next stretci of water. You have no choice in the matter . . . you must make the "carry" or you can't go on. Life isn't much different than a journey by canoe. There are "carries" trial must be made if we are to go on. A man can't escape the burdened miles that are part of his journey. The strength we need for such' times is not physical, b\il spiritual.
