Varqa, a Persian-born Baha'i, said that in the past two years he las noted more and more young idults entering the faith. He said that he was not pushed into the faith by his Baha'i parents since "Baha'is believe in independent investigation of the truth." Varqa said there are Baha'i local spiritual assemblies in Oklahoma Uity, Edmond, Moore, Norman and Bethany in the western district with smaller groups of Baha'is which are not yet large enough to je assemblies in the Village, Law-ion, Duncan, Sterling, Chickasha, El Reno, Yukon, Hobart, Guymon, Selling and Alva. In the state's eastern district, he said, there are assemblies in Tulsa, da, Tahlequah, Stillwater and in Mays County and smaller groups in 51 other localities. In addition, there are Baha'i college groups at the University of Dklahoma, Oklahoma State University, East Central State University and the University of Tulsa.
