Chapter PEO Sisterhood, 8 p.m., Green residence, Steese Hwy. Ann Landers. Answers Your roblems Thinks He's Funny Dear Ann: My husband thinks he has a great sense of humor. More than once he has insulted people and expected them to laugh it off. When this thing happened he said, "Write to Ann Landers and see what she says.

If Ann doesn't think it's funny I will do the dishes for one week." Last Wednesday I went to my bridge club. We usually have a 1:00 o'clock lunch and start to play at 2:00. As a rule the party breaks up at 5:00. Well, this particular day we got started late and at 5:30 we were just finishing the tally. In walks my 11- year-old son and hands me a large box.

He said "This is from Daddy," I opened the box in front of everyone and there was my mght-gown, toothbrush and an alarm clock. Most of the women laughed, but I think it was because they were embarrassed for me and didn't know what else to do. What's your verdict, Ann? HUMILIATED Dear Humiliated: Be sure to get a detergent that's kind to his bands. The joke might have been amusing if you could have opened the box in private, but before all your friends it was too sharp a needle. Dear Ann: Last year I married a man who used to be an officer in the Army.

This is rny second mar- iage and his first. He has many fine qualities and I guess I shouldn't complain, but he is terribly strict. My two sons, are 8 and 6. They like their new dad but they fear him because he's so stern. He inspects their closets, drawers and clothing.

If their posture isn't good they can't have dessert. When they speak to him they must say "Yes Sir" and "No The other evening I unconsciously said "Yes It was then I decided to write to you. Please advise. UNDER ORDERS Dear Under: Cut out the "Yes Sir, No Sir" before you get an ulser. Discipline balanced with justice and love will never hurt the boys but apparently there's to much rigidity in your home that even you feel like one of the troops.

Your local child guidance center will recommend helpful reading material on parent-children relationships. Give it to the Commander.in-Chief so that he will have a better understanding of his role as a father. Dear Ann: I'm 15 and a fair student. I did a pretty scummy thing and now I don't know how to fix it up. I had a girl friend, Roberta, who always was pretty swell to me.

She was just crazy over this guy and he seemed to like her a lot, too. The fellow I was going with was getting on my nerves so I decided to make a play for Roberta's boy friend. It worked, and now I can't get him out of my hair. He phones me every night, writes love letters, buys me candy and I can't unload him. Roberta and I are no longer friends.

I'm sick of the guy but I don't want to break off with him after two weeks or it will look like I just took him away to see if I could. What do you recommend? STEELER Dear Stealer: It looks that way because it is that way, so you might just as well play it straight and do tomething honest for a change. Strange how often, after we break all the rules to get something, we find it wasn't worth the trouble. To learn how te keep your boy friend in line with, out losing him, send for Ann Landers' booklet, "Necking and And How Far To Go," enclosing with your request 20 cents in coin and a large, self-addressed, stamped envelope.
