New-crop July again added 3 cents a bushel or more and old-crop months major fractions to more than a cent. Other grains closed with little net change. New-crop soybeans again slipped about 3 cents. Corn rallied late to finish about steady.

Oats closed steady to firm, rye added fractions. Speculators worked both sides of the market cautiously toward balancing commitments against any surprises in the government's August crop report. The government estimate after the close of only 864.4 million bushels of soybeans lowest of all recent outlooks surprised most traders; it compared with private estimates recently of 866 to the widely-accepted one of 8S5 million. The corn estimate of 3,981 million bushels, down from 4.221 million in July, was about in line with private butchers earned $26 to $26.25 Suit Hits Officials Of Insurance Firm Three officers and directors of Organized Security Life Insurance Oklahoma City, were accused Wednesday of "fraudulent transactions and misrepresentations." The accusation came in a complaint filed in Oklahoma County District Court against that firm, two others and three individuals. Filing the suite as "minor stockholders" in the firm were Hardin W.

Masters, Norman A. Morse, J. Matt Robertson, Roy Tillman, Russell B. Elliott, Oscar H. Lair, Fred Bull and Harlan Bell.

Named in the action, besides Organized Security, were Life Insurers and Organized Investors Life Insurance listing A. Bob Jordan as service agent, and R. W. "Buck" Harris, Paul R. Schwoerke, and R.

D. Parker, identified as officers or directors of the corporations. They were accused of paying excessive salaries and expenses to various officers and directors of the corporation and authorizing expenditures not necessary to the operation of business. Stockholders' meetings of Organized Security held without advising all stockholders, it was claimed, and officers and directors were fired and replaced at those meetings, resulting in "mismanagement." Organized Security Life Insurance stock and assets had been sold by the three officers and directors named and replaced with and questionable investments at inflated values." The eight men filing the suit said mismanagement had caused damage and that the market value of Organized Security's stock had dropped $500,000. They asked for a true account of the firm, that the court appoint a receiver for the company and that those named as officers and directors in the lawsuit be prohibited by the court from engaging in allegedly fraudulent activities.

A. J. general manager of the Veazey chain in Oklahoma City, said the store's lease has expired and will not' be renewed. The Fleming Co. of Topeka, has taken up the lease.

"We hope to be out by September 1," Crabtree said. The Veazey chain is owned by the Adams Drug Company, which has 87 stores in Oklahoma City, New York, Rhode Island and Kansas. Crabtree, who manages stores here and in Wichita, said the closing of the store at NW 50 and May in the Mayfair Shopping Center was not for economic reasons. "We have never lost money," he explained. "The building is just too big for a drug store.

We feel we can give more personal service in a smaller store." The building was formerly occupied by a Katz drug store. Crabtree said the Mayfair store's merchandise is being sold at a discount. Vi; arm moore, oewev o. 9813-161-32 8714 1 A former Oklahoma City policeman reported Wednesday that he was taken for by a trio of confidence men. A. B. Austin 40, of 1101 SW 50, told detectives he was at his place of business at 1415 Walker when a man with whom he was acquainted approached him and asked him for a ride to SVV 12 and Harvey.

When they reached that location, Austin said, they were met by another man who claimed to be from a foreign country. After his acquaintance departed, Austin and the "foreigner" were joined by two other men and the four began playing cards. Austin -won $10,000, he said, but the loser, refused to pay until the victim showed him half that amount in cash. Austin said he went to his bank where he withdrew then borrowed $1,500 from a friend. He put that money with another $500 and the loser added what was represented as $10,000.
