Crown Queen Tomorrow in Botanic Garden Amid the colorful setting of new cherry blossoms, a 17-year-old high, school girl will he crowned queen of the May tomorrow and the an MOOKlVN GARDEN CITY 1 A I BAY SHORE f' I nual Brooklyn Botanic Garden Week will be launched. The queen is tall, blonde Beatrice Menne of Brooklyn, a senior in Prospect Heights High School. On hand for the opening ceremony of the week in the Botanic Garden at 1000 Washington Brooklyn, will be more than 4,000 girls from the school. Many will be in costume for the songs and dances that will feature the opening festival.

The festival will begin at noon. The ceremony, which will be transferred indoors if the weather is rainy, will be followed by the formal opening of the Garden's new members' room. Other events during the week will include luncheons Tuesday and Thursday for borough business men. A feature of the annual week will be the public opening of the Oriental Garden, recently restored to its pre-war condition. This year marks the first time that the Oriental Garden, an old feature of the Botanic Garden, has been completely rebuilt since its closing during the war.
