Holmes, were guests, MfiNftY Henry Spencer, 66, of Coon Rapids died in St. Anthony Hospital Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Spencer had been admitted to the hospital early Tuesday afternoon. Death occurred at 2:55 p.m.

B. Carroll returned Wednesday from Moody, where they were called by HIP death of Mr. Carroll's father, Emmanuel M. Carroll, RR. Since his wife's death six years ago, Mr.

Carroll had spent most of the time with his daughter at Moody. He died there Saturday. He was a retired farmer. Funeral rites were held Tuesday, with hurial in Mt. Zion Cemetery near West Plains.

Mo. Mr. Carroll is survived hy five daughters and five sons. Two children are deceased. MRS.

Holiday Program Given for Study Club Ncwi MANNING Mildred Joens entertained the Progressive Study Club Monday evening. Roll call was "What Shall Be Most Thankful For This Thanksgiving." JSdna Halbur p-esented "Five Minutes of the special feature "Evangeline" was given by Eunice Jensen. Mildred Lyden gave the lesson, First Thanksgiving in which was in 1884. The club has entered the Community Achievement contest sponsored by the Federation. Contributions were made to the Christmas seal and Retarded Children's Members will contribute to a fund for "Christmas Cheer for Snut-lns" instead of having a gift exchange at their holiday meeting.

LAKE CITY Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Rebecca Kindred, 92. were held November 17 at 2 p.m. at the Huffman Memorial Chapel in Lake City, The Rev. William Green, pastor of Methodist Church, officiated.

Jane Rebecca Stoolman. daughter of Charles and Katherine Stoolman. born May 16, 1866. in Bureau County, Illinois. At the age of three she moved with her family to Lowden, Iowa.

Five years later moved to Carroll County where she attended rural schools. On March 21. 1888, she married George M. Kindred at Rockwell City. Mrs.

Kindred was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Lake City. She had lived in Lake City since 1932. She died November 15. at McVay Memorial Hospital in Lake City after a long illness. Her husband and one sort, Charles Harold, preceded her in death, She Is survived by nine children.
