Anna Lucille McLawhorn Anna Lucille McLawhorn. 59, 1520 S. Webster died Saturday at 3 in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, following an illness of one year. Born Sept.

3, 1914, she was the a a a a i (Mullen) Longfellow. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles. Surviving are two brothers, Earl Longfellow and Ray C. Longfellow, both of Kokomo. Two brothers and her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Ellers Mortuary, with Rev. Sylvan L. Nussbaum officiating. Burial will be in the Albright Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Harry Smith Hazel Ruth Smith, 68, 5005 Ojibway died Saturday at 7 a.m. in Howard Community Hospital, following an illness of six years.

Born Oct. 30, 1904, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Harry C. and Ella Rose (Pasdach) Murphy. On Nov. 10, 1928, she married Harry D.

Smith, who survives. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. She had lived in Kokomo until 1948 and had been employed by the and Department Store and the J.C. Penney Co. She then moved to Lafayette, where she was employed by the J.C.

Penney there, until 1963, when she returned to Kokomo. Surviving are four, sons, Harry D. Smith Jr. of Kokomo, Bernell Smith of Burlington, Dr. George Smith of Anderson and Galen Smith of Lafayette; six daughters, Mrs.

Harold (Dorothy) Galloway, Mrs. Charles (Lois) Cook, Mrs. David (Betty) Bolen and Mrs. Harold (Juanita) Henisa, all of Kokomo, Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Unger of Attica and Mrs.

Donald (Nancy) Buckles of Jacksonville, two brot Albert Murphy of Virginia and George Murphy of Rensselaer; three sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Florence) Clevenger and Mrs. Raymond (Jennie) Richey, both of Kokomo and Mrs. John (Gay) Stiener of Russiaville R.R. 32 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

One son and one brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Pius Gibble officiating, assisted by the Rev. Everett Robertson.

Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fenn Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, from 9 a.m. until noon Monday, and one hour prior to the services at the church. R. 1, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday following an extended illness. Born October 31, 1912 in Miami County, he was the son ol James and Louetta (Richardson) Arrick Sr. He was married in 1935 to Iris Claudeane Grant in Greenville, Ohio.

He was a member of the Converse Masonic Lodge No. 601 and AM, Eagles Aerie 255 in Kokomo and a member of the Eastern Star in Converse. He had been a farmer. Surviving with the widow are two sons, Jerry of Kokomo and Larry of Converse; one daughter, Mrs. Jean a one Bryon, Marion; two sisters, Mrs.

Carl (Sarah) Gossett and Mrs. Robert I a Duke both of Marion and seven grandchildren. Friends may call at the Larrison- Myers Funeral Home in Converse after noon on Sunday. Masonic services will be held at 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Converse Cemetery. Three injured in two accidents Three persons were injured in two traffic accidents early Saturday.

Cark Johnson, 59, 2122 N. Plate taken to Howard Community Hospital with a cut chin and chest injuries. Holmes was hurt when he lost control of his motorcycle on U. S. 31 near 500 at 3:11 a.m.

He was thrown from the cycle into a ditch. A car, driven by McElroy and in which Johnson was a passenger, struck a bridge abutment at 1150E on 100 South at 1:10 a.m. Night attendant robbed Saturday A night attendant at a local service station was robbed of his night's receipts by a lone robber early Saturday. The attendant, Steve Etherington told police a man wearing a mask entered the Hudson Oil Station at 1609 E. Markland Ave.

about 5:35 a.m. and demanded his money. Etherington said he did not see a gun but said the man kept his right hand in his jacket pocket. The robber is described as black about 6-foot tall, 170 pounds with a thin face and medium complexion. Etherington said he was wearing a blue jean jacket, dark pants and a red dickie over his face.

2 break-ins reported Two break-ins were reported here by police Saturday. Vera Baker, 212 E. Broadway reported $40 taken from her home Friday night. A television set was stolen from the home of William Troyer, 1501 W. Mulberry Friday night.

Mr. Hardesty died Friday at 7:10 p.m. in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, following an illness on one week. Born in Clinton County, April 29, 1891, (he was the son of Robert and Naomi (Wise) Hardesty.

In 1912, he married Flossie Burget, who died in 1967. He had been a pump operator at the Kokomo Water Works prior to his retirement in 1956. He had been employed there since 1932. He had also been an employe of the Continental Steel Corp. and the Pittsburg Plate Glass Corp.

Surviving are four sons, Robert, Raymond, Richard and Rex Hardesty, all of Kokomo; five daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Longfellow of Lafayette, Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Duncan of Detroit, Mrs. Reba Snodgrass, Mrs. William Reason and Mrs.

James (Rosemary) Dillon, all of Kokomo; 15 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Two sisters and three half-sisters preceded him in death. McClara Services SHARPSVILLE Funeral services for Leroy McClara, 42, 414 W. Walnut will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Thomas Funeral Home, Terre Haute.
