Dec 8 Texas conference reorganized here today with Abilene Christian college Austin college Howard Payne McMurry Southwestern and Texas Wesleyan represented Trinity university which holds membership in the conference had no representative present thus was not included in the athletic schedules The conference discontinued athletics in the spring of 1943 Shelton of Howard Payne was continued as conference president Election of officers will be held at the spring meeting Track golf and tennis meets will be at Howard Payne college but definite dates for these events were not set It was voted that athletic participation during the period from January' 1943 to the football season of 1946 would not he counted against a boy at a Texas conference school It also was voted (hat war veterans may
