OODRUFF, Jerri (Reber) 65, of Urbana, Ohio died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at 10 a.m. in her residence. She was born October 14, 1939 in Kenton, Ohio to Elton and Madaline Reber. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gerald Woodruff, whom she married December 20, 1959; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Darrell Doupnik of Marysville, Ohio, Tami and Andy Gastineau of Marysville, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Anne Woodruff of Springfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Brittany, Stephanie, Samantha Doupnik, Courtney, Jenna, Jake Gastineau, Allyson Woodruff; sisters, Marilyn (Walt) Moenter of Kenton, Ohio, Janet Ralston of Kenton, Ohio; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dr. Robert and Evelyn Woodruff of Gainesville, Florida, Pat and Dick Spaulding of Benson, Arizona; cousin, Gene Logan of Tiffin, Ohio; many beloved nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend, Liz Cartwright of Bexley, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Madaline and Elton Reber and a special grandmother, Della Logan. Jerri was a graduate of Urbana High School, class of 1957, where she was a Majorette and a member of the Marching Band and Choir. She attended Miami University and The Ohio State University. She was a member of The Ohio State University Choir, Synchronized Swimming Team and the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of the Urbana Eastern Star and former Mother Advisor and Board Member for Order of Rainbow for Girls and a member of the Urbana United Methodist Church.

Jerri and operated the Dairy Queen in Urbana for 31 years, continuing the family business that began in 1949 by parents, Elton and Madaline Reber. Mentoring hundreds of teenagers over the years, Jerri taught them fashioned math and many endearing quotes that they still treasure, especially her famous: you have time to lean, you have time to She dearly loved each one of her employees and considered them part of her family. She en- oyed traveling and had a special place in her heart for the ocean, especially on Sanibel Island, Florida. Family and friends will be received during calling hours on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 642 South Main Street, Urbana, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at The Urbana United Methodist Church, 238 North Main Street, on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. with her long time personal friend, the Rev. Jim Bills and Dr. John Daniels officiating. The Ava Maria and The Prayer will be sung by her dear friend, Ned Kirby.

Pallbearers will be: Gene Logan, Darrell Doupnik, Andy Gastineau, Jim Shaloo, Steve Cartwright, Don Long, Hobe Neiswander and Mike Melvin. Sadly Missed Love Your Family BISHOP, Marsha L. 64, of Springfield, passed away at 11:30 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2004 in Community Hospital.

On April 23, 1940, Our Creator smiled on Don and Jerry Medley with the birth of their second daughter, Marsha Lynne. Marsha married Robert Bishop on October 18, 1965 blending two families into one. She held the most important job a woman could have, mother and wife. Marsha belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1031 and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 6. Marsha is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 39 years, Bob.

She is also survived by her children and spouses, Robyn (Tom) Scurlock, Ronnie (Charlotte) Bishop, Margaret (Frank) Wilson, Kate Zock, T.J. (Gina) Bishop, Mitchell (Rachelle) Laws, Michelle (Craig) Ignatowitz, Melissa (Marty) Puckett and Bob (Janine) Bishop. Other survivors include her sister, Bobbie Fenner; 23 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and special friend, Judy Brown. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Clarence and Beulah Bishop; son, Brien Laws, daughter, Susan Bishop, grandson, Eric Bishop, and great granddaughter, Bridgette Udtana. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday, November 2nd in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary services at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, November 3 in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Welch officiating, as Marsha did not do mornings. Burial will be at Ferncliff Cemetery. TRUMAN, John W. WALLACE, Harriet WILLIAMS, Aileen ALLS, Marion Proctor 82, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 after a long and fulfilling life. Marion Walls was born August 26, 1922 in Enon, Ohio. He graduated from Springfield High School and Ohio Northern University with a degree in electrical engineering. He was registered as a professional engineer in Texas.

Mr. Walls was employed for ten years by the E.I. DuPont Company and for 21 years by different companies in the Bell System, including the Western Electric Company, Bell Telephone Laboratories and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He then spent one year as a communications engineer for the Arabian American Oil Company. He concluded his professional career with 10 years of service with the State of Florida Public Service Commission.

Mr. Walls was a member of the Greatest Generation. He was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Army in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. He and Virginia recently attended the dedication of the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Virginia Walls of Tallahassee; two sons, Michael Walls of Concord, New Hampshire and Gary Walls of Northbrook, Illinois; a daughter, Sheri Scott of Tallahassee and seven grandchildren.

Other survivors include seven sisters and brothers, Patricia Bussard, Phyllis Kuntz, Jackson Walls, Lawrence Walls and Harry Walls and Ronald Walls of Springfield, Ohio and vicinity, and Merle Walls of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Helen Walls and two sisters, Marjorie Graham and Donna Cox, all of Springfield, Ohio. Mr. Walls will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He gave credit for his success in life to his upbringing by a strong-willed mother and a hard-working father in a large, traditional American family.

He was a lifelong reader and learner, who placed a high value on education. Throughout his life, he encouraged thoughtful, sometimes spirited, discussions among his family and friends about politics, religion and contemporary events. He was loved by many and his children thought he was a great Dad. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2004 at the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, North Limestone Street, Springfield.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. JACKSON, Janet H. KILLION, Anthony R. WALLS, Marion BENSON, Virginia 65, of Washington Court House, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2004 at her residence. She was born on May 29, 1939 in Washington Court House to Leroy and Daisy (Simmons) Wilson. She retired from Pickaway Correctional Institute and was a member Tabernacle Baptist Church and American Legion 653 Auxiliary.

Mrs. Benson is survived by children, Kenneth (Melissa) Upthegrove, Timothy (Jerry) Upthegrove, Jody Benson all of Washington Court House, Sheila (Michael) Loney of Columbus; grandchildren, Tiffany Whittman of North Carolina, Kory Proby, Kenneth IV and Evan Upthegrove all of Washington Court House; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Wilson of Springfield; six sisters, Geraldine (John) Ellis of Dayton, Opal Johns and Lucille Wilson both of Washington Court House, Betty (Henry) Yates, Margaret (Robert) Wood, JoAnn (Charles) Wood all of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Benson will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 7 p.m. in the WELLMAN-KINZER FUNERAL HOME, Washington Court House with Rev.

Saturday, October 30, 2004 in the Ohio Masonic Home. He was born August 25, 1910 in Hancock County, Tennessee. He attended Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee and later moved to Springfield. He was a member of the Springfield Christian Church. Mr.

Parks is survived by five nephews, Larry (Marilyn) Parks, Dennis (Phyllis) Parks, Paris (Virginia) Rowlette all of Lafayette, Indiana, Marvin (Pat) Rowlette of Flint, Michigan, and Kenneth (Gayle) Rowlette of Darlington, South Carolina; three nieces, Phyllis (Bob) Schultz, Elizabeth (Paul) Incropera of Lafayette and Gladys Rowlette of Middesboro, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dora (Byrd) Parks, one sister, Bertha Rowlette and three brothers, Clyde, Paris and Dayle. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mike Surgenor officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services.

Burial will follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery. COOK, Robert D. 85, of Kenton, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 10:50 a.m. in Hardin Hill Health Center, Kenton, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday, October 31, 2004 in Essex of Springfield. He was born May 27, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Ralph and Bernice (Skinner) Truman. He was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible and was retired from the City of Springfield. He was a veteran of the Air Force and the Army. Survivors include brothers and sisters, Bill Truman, Shari Truman, Barbara Truman, Ed Truman and Linda (George) Nokes all of Springfield, Mary Cox of South Carolina; special friends, Steve and Brenda Shartle of Springfield; his wife, Marj orie Truman and several step children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Church of the Open Bible with Rev. James R. Martin officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services.

Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. The family is being served by the JONES-KENNEY- ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. HAHN, Lola M. (Miller) 86, of Miamisburg and formerly of Springfield, died Sunday morning, October 31, 2004 at Outlook Pointe. She was born on November 17, 1917 in Springfield the daughter of the late Grover and Pansy (Wamsley) Miller.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Kenneth Conselyea of Miamisburg; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Betty Hahn of Springfield; a sister, Mary Knotts of Standing Rock, Alabama; five grandchildren, Mark (Christine) Conselyea, Brian R. (Kerrie) Hahn, Jeffrey Hahn, Jennifer Hahn and Ry- anne Trombley; six great grandchildren, Adam Conselyea, Dylan Hahn, Jaden Trombley and Miranda, Kiana and Ashley Hahn; and a niece, Joyce Shawd. Her husband of 59 years, Walter J. Hahn and a brother, George Miller preceded her in death. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m.

She was born November 5, 1924 in Rockland, Wisconsin the daughter of Edwin and Ellen (Bakken) Kirkeeng. Mrs. Williams was a member of Faith in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Sewing and Service Club of the Church and the Robbins and Myers Girls Club. She was an avid bowler and had taught Sunday School in Calvary Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Williams was retired from Robbins and Myers. Survivors include four children, Patricia (Ted) Jordan, Waynesville, Ohio, Judith (Michael) Pitzer, Circleville, Ohio, Steve Williams, Springfield, Ohio and Carol (Bruce) Lytle, Beavercreek, Ohio; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred (Cleo) Jenkins, Camarillo, California; three brothers, Loren (Betty) Kirkeeng, Sedona, Arizona, Stanley (Diane) Kirkeeng, Laughlin, Nevada, Eldon (Bea) Kirkeeng, Amarillo, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Williams; a daughter, Nanci Potts; a brother, Lemonte Kirkeeng and a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Williams.

Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Rev. Michael Johnson officiating.

and Hattie (Dice) Porter born in Springfield, Ohio. She was a member of the Second Missionary Baptist Church where she sung in the choir until her health failed, she was also a former member of Trinity AME Church where she was the superintendent of Sunday School. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arthur Leon Wallace; three sons, LeRoy (Jean Rae) Butler of Southfield, Michigan, Arthur "Sonny" (Debra) and Barry Wallace both of Springfield, Ohio; four grandchildren Amy (Wesley) Gailliard and Brent Butler of Southfield, Michigan, Michelle and Jason Wallace of Springfield, Ohio; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter (Ina) Porter of Urbana, Ohio; one sister-in-law Ruth Porter of Springfield, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Albert and Dennis L. Porter and one sister, Juanita Greene.

Visitation is Wednesday, November 3, 2004 1-9 p.m. with the family present from 7-9 p.m. at the PORTER-QUALLS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church, with the Reverend Charles Jones, officiating.

Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Final tributes are a service of Porter-Qualls Funeral Home. HARRISON, John L. 70, of Springfield, passed away Saturday October 30, 2004 in his residence. He was born February 23, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio and was a son of Claryce (Smalley) and Conrad Grimes.

He served in the 178 Technical Fighter Group of the Ohio Air National Guard from 1952-1964, and retired from Dayton Power and Light in 1999 after 44 years of service. He was a member of Local 175 Utility Workers Union. John was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed camping and his grandchildren. He leaves to cherish behind his wife of 43 years, Judith (Bridgett) Harrison; daughters, Tracey (Richard) Butler of North Hampton and Alicia Harrison and Alexis Cryder and a host of other family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold D. Jackson; sons, John F. (Cynthia) Harter, Jr. of Springfield and David J.
