I Deaths Mrs. Eli Lilly Robert E. Rudolph dies Wednesday Wednesday, March 14, 1973 Robert E. Rudolph, 4223 Gardenia Elkhart, formerly of Kokbmo, died Monday while attending an insurance conference in New Mexico. Death was attributed to apparent heart attack.

He was an insurance agent for Federated Mutual Insurance, Elkhart. Born April 2,1932, in Kokomo, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rudolph, who both survive and live in Kokomo. On Feb.

2, 1957, in Kokomo, he was married to Delores Ann Pickett, who survives. In Elkhart, he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans 19, the Evening Optimist Club, a past officer of the Jaycees, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the Chamber of Commerce and St. David Episcopal Church. He was a 1949 graduate of Kokomo High School. He was the sponsor of the Thursday Night Bowling League in Elkhart arid had served in the Korean Conflict with the U.

S. Air Force. Surviving with the parents and the widow are two sons, Robert Rudolph II of Elkhart and Thomas S. Rudolph, Tipton; two daughters, Pamela and Tina Rudolph, both both of Elkhart, and a sjster, Mrs. Thomas (Betty) Wellinger, Kokomo.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Williams-Stemm Funeral Home, Elkhart. Friends may call at the funeral home between 7-9 p. m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Maude M. Mills Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Mills, 91, formerly of 314 W. Mulberry will be at 10 a.m.

Friday in the Peacock Funeral Home with the Rev Jerry Galbreath officiating. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home between 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday Mrs. Mills died early Tuesday morning the home here of a daughter Mrs.

Elmo (Kathryn) Wooters. She was a member of the United Brethren Church, Flora, and a retired employe of Alliance Theaters. Born in Flora, Nov. 20, 1882, she was the daughter of Frank and Marv (Trent) Byrum. In 1901 she was married to Rease Mills, who preceded her in death in February, 1950.

Surviving with Mrs. Wooters are an- Si hei Daughter, Mrs. John (Martha) Turnbull, Kokomo; a sister, Mrs. Marie Scherz, Riverside, three grand- csildren and three great-grandchildren. John F.

Cunning Graveside services for John F. Cunning, native of Kokomo, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in an Ashland, Ohio, cemetery with the Rev. George Sheets officiating. Cunning died March 5 in the Veterans Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, following an extended illness.

Born in Kokomo, April 2,1914, he was the son of Roy E. and Elizabeth (Brian) Cunning. He was 58. A former employe of the Faultless Rubber Company, Ashland, he had served with the U. S.

Army during World War II. Surviving are two daughters, two sons and two sisters, Mrs. Laura E. Banter, Kokomo, and Mrs. Evelyn I Taylor, Ashland, Ohio.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)-Mrs. Eli Lilly, wife of the honorary chairman of the board of Ell Lilly and Co. of Indianapolis, died at her home today after a lone illness. Mrs. Lilly was well known in the field of philanthropy and the cultural Jife of Indianapolis.

She was a member of the board of directors of Lilly Endowment, the foundation which administers the phi- lanthrophic activities of the Lilly family for religious, education and charitable purposes. She was also a founding trustee of the Indianapolis Museum of Art and a member of the board of trustees of the Indianapolis Children's Museum. Ruth Allison Lilly was born Oct 14 1891, one of four daughters of William D. Allison, Indianapolis manufacturer and distributor of medical office furniture.
