3. The linked letters under the middle fsoe of Washington, in the eounterfeit do not show the lower end of the inside of the leg of the while in the genuine tbey do. This mark is easily seen. 4. The border round the letteringand 50" on the back of the counterfeit is dark, and the Iine are crowded, while in the genuine the border is open, with a line Of light dots running through ibe middle all the way round.
