Anti-Defgrtiation Group Director To Talk Here Robert Gordon, director of the Indiana Regional Office of Anti-Defamation League of B'naJ B'rith, will be in Kokomo on Monday for an'address that night before the Cenlral Labor Council of Howard County, AFL-CIO. Ralph Little, president of the council, said Gordon will gpeak at the UAW Local Hall K9 E. Hoffer at 7:30 p.m. Gordon has been director of the Anti-Defamation League office since it was established at Indianapolis in September, 1935. Prior to his Indiana assignment, he was associate director cl the a Wisconsin office.

He has a wide background of experience in the of human relations, gained in work! with veteran and civil rights organirations. He is a veteran of War II having served! as an inspector in the Army Medical Department from 1W2 to and was associated with United States government In a variety of agencies. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in education. As a civic leader in his community of Milwaukee Goroon a a voter registration a a i and successfully fought for the establishment of a University of Wisconsin facilities in that community. Many pioneer projects In the GORDON human relalions field in Indiana are credited to his planning.

Human relations institutes for nurses, a human relations training program for police officers in conjunction with the Indiana University School of lice Administration and Training, and Indiana's first Human Relations Workshop for Teachers held at Ball Stale Teachers College in 1981, are a his accomplishments. He has se as a consultant in human relations to universities and colleges in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, and has been consulted by 5 number of Indiana industrial firms and trade associations. Dramatic Club At KHS Has 26 New Members Rehearsed and impromptu kits were the highlight of the nduction of 28 new members nto Kokomo High School Dramatic Club membership' night. Human Error Blamed For Plane Crash at Cincinnati WASHINGTON (AP) The Civil Aeronautics Board blamed human error today for the Boeing 727 crash in which 58 persons were killed near Greater Cincinnati Airport last Nov. 8.

It said the probable cause was what it called failure of the I plane's crew to monitor the alti- tude-measurement msiruments properly during the approach to the airport at Covington, Ky. The board noted that a 727 had been involved in three other i fatal accidents within a six- month period, on landing or on the start of a gradual approach to a landing in Lake Michigan on approach to Chicago, Aug. 1965, all 30 killed; at Salt Lake City, Utah, Nov. 11, with deaths and 48 survivors; and in Tokyo Bay, Feb. 4, when 133 were killed.

But it said that with regard to the Cincinnati crash, the "727 flight characteristics were not a At the same time the board stressed that because the 727 is highly responsive and versatile, these favorable qualities may be misleading to the pilot or might give the impression that greater liberties may be taken with that type of plane than with others, especially in normal approaches and landings.
