26 KOKOMO (Ind.) TRIBUNE Sunday, July 19, 1970 DEATHS and FUNERALS Community Hospital I Daisy E. Alexander Daisy E. Alexander, 85,1706 E. Markland died at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital at 4 a.m.

Saturday following a one-year illness. She was born in Howard County, Aug. 10, 1885, the daughter of Jonathan and Sarah (Hancock) Idle. She married Earl Alexander in 1914 and he died in 1946. Mrs.

Alexander bad lived all her life in the Kokomo vicinity. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ray Ze)da) Cunningham Muncie and Mrs. Mae Carr of Kokomo; one sister, Mrs. Dollie Stanford of Burbank, six grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ellas Funeral Chapel with Kenneth Washburn officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday morning.

Mrs. Verna E. Armstrong GREENTOWN Mrs. Verna E. Armstrong, 87, Kokomo R.

R. 1, died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday at Howard Community Hospital following a four week ill- She was born in Grant County, Nov. 30, 1882, the daughter of Noah and Susan (Mauller) Shull. She married Allen Armstrong Dec.

24, 1908, and be died May 31, 1967. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of Antioch Christian Church and the Union Township Home Demonstration Club. Surviving is one brother, Wayne Shull of Kokomo. Seven brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Chester Mitchell and Lowell Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in Knox Chapel Cemetery in Point Isabel. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m.

Monday. The family requests that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the Howard County Cancer Fund. Mrs. Mary E. Johnson CONVERSE--Mrs.

Mary E. Johnson, 63, Motine, died Friday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital in Walk Island, m. She had been a patient there several months. She was born in Converse, the daughter of Bert and Sarah (Price) Titus.

Surviving is one brother, Walter Titus of Jamesville, Wis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Larrison-Myers Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Hall officiating. Burial will be in Converse Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services Monday', Qmar A. Smith Omar A. Smith, 76, Kokomo R. R. 2, died at 9:30 p.m.

at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital. He was born in Miami County, April 5, 1894, the son of Alonzo and Mary (McClellans) Smith. June 6, 1926, he was married to Margaret who survives. Mr.

Smith was engaged in farming. Also surviving are four sons, Arthur and Dean, at home, William Galveston, and Arthur Dean, Logans port; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Scott, Star City, and Mrs. Marjorie Price, Logansport; one sister Mrs. Rosdla Minser, Carmd, and nine grandchildren.

The funeral will be at the Thomas- Murray Funeral Home, Galveston, at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Peter B. Prange will officiate.

Friends.may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Amanda E. McKillip WABASR a Amanda E. McKfflip 1 Wabash R.

R. 1, died in an auto accident at 9:35 ajn. Friday at county roads 500W and Division Road. She was born August 19, 1901, in Miami County near Converse, the daughter of Homer F. and Jenny (Reynolds) Shinn.

In 1920 she was married to Alvin J. McKillip, who 'survives. McKillip is owner of the McKillip Hybrid Seed Wabash County. Also surviving are four sons, James, Robert, Jack and Ken, all of the Wabash area; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Houlihan, Wabash, and Mrs.

Ralph Bowen, Peru R. one brother, Harry Shinn, South Bend; one sister; Miss Florence Shinn, Fort Wayne, and 14 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bachelor Creek Church of Christ. Dennis MoHey and David Graham will officiate.

Burial will follow in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the Eddingfield- Gerber Morturary today and until 1 p.m. Monday. Marie Breitenbach Word has been received here by that Marie Brettenbich, mother of Albert Brateabach, 2tt Nancy died Saturday morning at Community Hospital in Indianapolis. She is survived by three daughters, Miss Ermina Breitenbach and Mrs.

Frances Benoit, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Margaret Vodacker of Nevada, and the son, Albert Breit-" enfaach, of Kokomo. Funeral services will be at 1 pjn. Monday at the Harry W. Moore Arlington Chapel in Indianapolis.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Galveston Cemetery. Robert A. Milter ELWOOD Robert A. Miller, 54, 519 S.

18th at 9 Friday in Mercy Hospital following an extended illness. Born June 19,1916, he was the son of L. A. and Iva (Burns) Miller. Sept, 10, 1938, he was married to Marjorie Rudy, who survives.

He was the proprietor of the Miller Machine Shop here and was a member of the East Main Street Church and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving with the widow are his father, L. A. Miller, Lancaster, three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Ann Pierce, EKvood, Mrs.

Barbara Ashton, Anderson, and Mrs. Carol Merida, Tiptoe, and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Copher-Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Salsbery officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. to day. Mrs. Joseph Frankenthal Joseph Frankenthal, 96, died at 11 a.m.

Saturday in Windsor Estates after an extended She was born Bertha Stem in Michigan and bad moved to Kokomo after her marriage to Joseph Franfcenthml. She had been a resident of Kokomo for 60 years and her home formerly bad been 1100 W. Walnut St. Mrs. Frankenthal was a of the Jewish Temple here and her husband bad operated the Modern Store for Ladies.
