He was born May 19, 1916, at Hays, where he was reared and educated. Mr. Ellis was employed in the oil fields as a young man where he worked as a driller and heavy duty mechanic. At the time of his death, he was visiting his brother in Casper. He was a member of the F.0.E.

No. 646 and was very active in his local Eagles' lodge and the state lodge. Mr. Ellis was also a member of the board of directors of the Kansas Wildlife Federation and was past president of the Borden County Sportsman's Club. Survivors are three daughters, Marilyn Wilson of Hays, Carol Ann Franke of Denver, Colo.

Clyde Hughes MOORCROFT Services for Clyde Hughes, 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church.

The Rev. Ren Adams will officiate, assisted by Richard Castello who will give the eulogy. Burial will be in the Moorcroft Cemetery with military rites. Mr. Hughes died at his home Oct.

19. He was born Oct. 2, 1890 at Henry S.D.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie in 1967, and one son, Cecil, nine days ago. Survivors include two sons, Willis and Jack, one daughter, Wilma Dobbins, all of Moorcroft; one sister, Helen Leffler of Ft.

Dodge, Iowa; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established to the Moorcroft Presbyterian Church. Donations may be sent to the Moorcroft State Bank. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dr. Douglas Hughes, Dr.

Mike Hughes, Mark Hughes, Hoby Hughes, Roland Rollins and Alvin Huckins. The Fiddler-Roberts Northeastern Wyoming Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Xula Webb CASPER Funeral services for Mrs. Xula Webb, 80, are pending at the Bustard Funeral Home in Casper. Mrs.

Webb died Wendesday at her home in Casper following a long illness. She was born Dec. 11, 1900, at Durango, where she was reared and educated and graduated from Durango High School. On Aug. 7, 1926, she married Ben Webb at Ouray, Colo.

They lived in various parts of the western region where husband was employed by Mountain States Telephone Co. They moved to Casper in 1951. Mrs. Webb was a member of the Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs.

Thelma Paquette of Salida, one brother, Lee Sowers of Whittier, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Sowers of Westchester, Pa. Wm. H. Budd, Sr.

BIG PINEY Funeral services for William H. Budd, 73, were held Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. in Big Piney. Mr.

Budd died in Laramie on Oct. 14 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law. He was born May 27, 1908, and lived most of his life on the ranch west of Big Piney. On Sept. 16, 1929, he married Thelma L.

Vickrey and they had three children, William who lives in Cheyenne; Robert, who died in 1948; and Sally Friedrichs of Laramie. Besides his wife he is survived by as son Bill Jr. and a daughter Sally, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Pearl Spencer and many other relatives in the Big Piney area. Burial was in Plainview Cemetery in Big Piney.
