RICK ARVIN (Miss Janet Courtney) Chism-Kuhns Miss Teena Roann Kuhns became the bride of Steven J. Chism Friday night in "First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Their double-ring wedding was performed by the Key.

William Norris. Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Kuhns 513 Hillcrest are parents of the bride.

-The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and TMrs. Walter J. Chism, 3728 N. Apperson Way.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore an empire gown of brocade velvet. It was styled with leg-o- mutton sleeves and stand-up collar, and the bodice was accented with pearls. Velvet roses held her shoulder-length and she carried a cascade of red roses and white carnations. Miss Babs Elaine Prather, maid of honor, wore an Empire gown of red velvet trimmed with pearls. She carried a white fur muff.

DanL. Smith served as best man. J.O. Kuhns and Larry M. Smith, Monticello, were ushers.

A reception in the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony. The bride attended Northwestern High School. Her husband, a 1969 graduate of Northwestern, is employed by General Tire and Rubber Logansport. Their home will be at Monticello R.R 2. A Saturday afternoon wedding in Judson Baptist Church united in marriage Miss Janet Marlene Courtney and Rick Lee Arvin.

The Rev. Charles DcRolk, Indianapolis, performed the double-ring service. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Courtney, 2536 N.

Bell and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Arvin, Kokomo R.R. 2. Given in marriage by her father, (he bride chose a floor-length satin Empire gown.

French netting and Chantilace accented the wedding ring neckline and bodice. Lace petals edged with pearls Aaron-Jilley Alto United Methodist Church was the scene of the Friday night wedding of Miss Janet Elaine Tilley and Maurice Edward Aaron. The Rev. Paul Aaron, 924 N. Morrison St. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a crepe gown styled with an Empire waistline, bell sleeves edged with lace, and Watteau train. A headpiece of pearl-trimmed organdy flowers secured her veil, and she carried a long- stemmed white rose. Attending her sister as matron of honor was Mrs.

Gary Shoemaker. Mes. James Walter, Robert Wheeler and Larry Pyke were bridesmaids. They wore floor-length gowns of dark green velvet styled with A-line skirts and long sleeves. Each wore a matching shoulder-length veil and carried a long-stemmed white rose.

Lori Kauble was flower girl. Greg Aaron served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jan Jenkins, Fort Wayne; Al Clinton and Larry Rhoades. Ushers were Steven Tilley and Gary Tilley. A church reception followed the ceremony.

The bride was graduated in 1966 from Kokomo High School and in 1968 from Elkhart General Hospital School of Radiologic Technology. She is an X-ray technician at Howard Community Hospital. A 1965 KHS graduate, the bridegroom is employed by Delco Radio Division. Vogel-Graham secured tier veil, and she carried an orchid with while roses and stephanotis. Mrs.

David Kline was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Richard Ellsworth, Indianapolis, and Miss Sandy Kessler. The attendants wore floor-length Empire gowns of red velvet with matching ruffles accenting the necklines and sleeves. Velvet bows held their veils, and they carried bouquets of white carnations varigated with red.

Flower girl was Terri Graham, with Richard Shuck, Kcmpton, as ring bearer. Mike Allen attended as best man. Groomesmen were Mick Arvin and Dick Arvin. Michael Courtney and Richard Ellsworth, Indianapolis, ushered guests. A church reception followed the ceremony.

The Friday night rehearsal dinner also was in the church. The bride, a 1967 Kokomo High School graduate, is employed by Delco Radio Division and is a member of Delta Theta Tau sorority. A 1965 Northwestern High School graduate, the bridegroom attends Indiana University-Kokomo. He also is employed by Delco. Their wedding trip is through southern Indiana.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Dean Vogel are on a wedding trip to the Bahamas following their wedding Saturday night in St. Patrick Catholic Church. The Rev.

Joseph ilelenka officiated at the double- ring service. Parents of the bride, the former Miss Janet Sue Graham, are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Graham 5407 E.

Sycamore Rd. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Vogel, Monticello R.R.

4. A Chanlilly lace gown was selected by the bride, who was given in marriage by her father. It was fashioned with a high neckline, Victorian jabot and chapel train. Her Spanish mantilla veil was of lace and illusion, and a large glamelia formed the bridal bouquet. Miss Janis L.

Kitts was maid of honor in a deep turquoise linen gown accented with velvet and lace ribbon. Bridesmaids included Misses Deborah Hunt, Marianne Shoemacher and Pamela Norwood. Their floor-length gowns were of aqua linen. The attendants wore matching garden hats and carried nosegays of glamelias. Vickie Kay Graham served as flower girl.

Duties of best man were performed by Mickey D. Arvin. Groomsmen were Richard Monon, Michael Doly and Phillip Vogel. Guests were ushered by Kenneth Graham and Bruce Vogel. The rehearsal dinner was Friday night in Monte's Restaurant.

A wedding reception was held Saturday night in Knights of Columbus Hall. A 1967 Northwestern High School graduate, the bride attended Indiana University-Kokomo. She is employed by First National Bank. The bridegroom, a 1965 graduate of Twin Lakes High School, attended Tri- SUitc College. He is an employe of Graves Sheet Metal Co.

Miss Jacuuelaine Ann Fenn and Kenneth E. Mills were married Saturday afternoon in South Side Christian Church. The Rev. Harold E. Cline performed the double-ring wedding.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm L. Fenn, Russiaville R.R. 2, and Mr.

and Mrs. Harvey E. Mills, 730 S. Brandon St. Given in marriage by her father, the bride selected an A-line sheath gown of ribbed satin with soutache trim.

It was trimmed with pearls at the neckline ami sleeves, and a back bow secured the chapel train. Satin loops centered with Chantilace petals and pearls held her veil, and she carried a cascade of white roses and ivy atop a white Bible. Miss Marilyn Fenn, Russiaville, attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Douglas Heinmiller, Mrs.

William Grosswiler II and Miss Deborah Givens. Their Empire gowns were fashioned with forest green velvet bodices and mint green chiffon skirts. Velvet Dior bows held their maline veils. The honor attendant carried a long-stemmed yellow rose, while the bridesmaids carried bouquets of yellow carnations centered with roses. Lisa Maugans was flower girl, with Brian Wines as ring bearer.

Serving bis brother as best man was Harvey 0. Mills, Bringhurst. Groomsmen were Douglas Heinmiller, Terry Aeschliman and Kenneth Hill. Daniel Sturgeon, Greentown, and Timothy Fox ushered guests. A reception in Fellowship Hall followed the ceremony.

The MISS MARGARET STOUT MISS KATHRYN BERGMAN The approaching marriage of Miss Margaret Ellen Stout and Tony L. Hocker is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter M. Stout, Tipton R.R.

2. The future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vlon Hocker, Orestes. Miss Stout was graduated from Tipton High School in 1966 and is a senior at Ball State University.

She is a member of Lambda lota Tau English honorary. Mr. Hocker, a 1966 graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School, is also a senior at Ball State. They will be married at West Street Christian Church, Tipton, on Feb. 28.

MISS GAIL WHITE Whiie-Gifford Miss Gail Leslie White will become the bride of James William Gifford on June 20 in United Methodist Church, Whitefish Bay, Wise. Parents of the engaged couple are Dr. and Mrs. Philip Taylor White, Whitefish Bay, and Mr. and Mrs.

Charles W. Gifford, 738 S. Washington St. The future bride and bridegroom are both juniors at Indiana University. She is a member of Alpha Phi sorority, and he is affiliated with Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

He is also a Kokomo High School graduate. Double-ring marriage vows were spoken Saturday afternoon in Alto United Methodist Church by Miss Jacquelyn Lee Boyd and Michael Lee McQuinn. The Rev. Charles Dunmoyer officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mrs.

Dorane Everhart, New Albany, and Robert E. Boyd, Grand Rapids, Mich. Parents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Delpha A. McQuinn, 725 S.

McCann and Lester J. McQuinn, Arizona. An Empire gown of Angelmist was worn by the bride, who was given in marriage by her father. The scoop neckline, bishop sleeves and cathedral train were accented with Alencon lace encrusted with pearls and crystals. Organza kops centered with jeweled lace petals secured the bridal veil, and white roses formed the bridal bouquet.

Serving her sister as matron of honor was Mrs. Gary J. Repovg in a floor- length gown of moss green georgette over taffeta featuring a sheer modified train. Her headpiece was matching organza flowers. Bridesmaids were Miss Joanne Boyd, New Albany; Miss Diana Shackelford and Mrs.

Frank E. Walker, Their gowns were of apricot georgette, and their headpieces were of matching organza flowers. The attendants earned cascades of apricot and white carnations with green and apricot streamers. Kimberly Davis, Sharpsville, was flower girl. Ring bearer was Robert Dale Hight.

Gary J. Repovg attended as best man. Groomsmen included Leslie E. Strunk, Hemlock, Steven Graham and Frank E. Walker.

Guests were seated by Larry V. Davis, Sharpsville, and Ronnie Edwards, Grissom AFB. A church reception followed the ceremony. The bride, a Kokomo High School graduate, is employed by Delco Radio Division. The bridegroom was graduated from Clinton Central High School and is employed by Hardings Standard Service Station.

MISS LINDA BELL Miss Linda Sue Bell will become the bride of Gerald Lee Gunnell on March 21 in St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Parents of the engaged couple are Mr. and Mrs. Berf R.

Bell, 1120 N. Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gunnell, 3604 Canyon Dr. The future bride and bridegroom are both 1968 graduates of Kokomo High School.

Richard McLay, brother- in-law and sister of the bridegroom. The bride was graduated in 1966 from Western High School and in 1968 from Kokomo Business College. She is a secretary for First National Bank. A 1960 Kokomo High School graduate, the bridegroom is an employe of Cuneo Press Inc. Bergman-Smith St.

Joan of Arc Catholic Church will be the scene of the April 25 wedding of Miss Kathryn Jo Bergman and Gerald Norman Smith. Parents of bride-elect are Mrs. Clarence Bussey, 300 Yale and the late Henry W. Bergman. Miss Bergman was graduated in 1965 from Kokomo High School and in 1969 from Indiana State University.

She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority and an employe of Pruyn Insurance Agency, Indianapolis. The future bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Dolores Smith, Rushville, and the late Norman R. Smith. He is a graduate of Rushville High School and Ball State University and a member of Theta Xi fraternity.
