Thompson Thompson I TORRINGTON Services for Gottlieb Beierle, 77, will be held 2 p.m. today at the First United Church of Christ In Torrlngton, with Pastor John Rosenberg officiating.

Mr. Beierle died at the Community Hospital in Torrlngton Aug. 11. He was born Dec. 29, 1902 In Dorbuje, Bulgaria, the son of August and Wllhelmlne Kunesh Beierle.

The family came to the United States in 1911, and homesteaded in the Burge community. They moved to Torrlngton In 1918. Mr. Beierle married Mary Elizabeth Sera (In in 1925. She preceded him.

In death in 1939. He was affiliated with the First United Church of Christ, Senior Citizens and Troop of the 115th Cavalry, Wyoming National Guard, from 1921 to 1924. Mr. Beierle is survived by a son, Stanley James of Wheatland; daughters Mrs. Willa Barthel and Mrs.

Marjorte Dermer, both of Torrlngton, Mrs. Sally Grassmlck of Scotts Bluff, Neb. and Mrs. Julie Leonard of Saly Lake City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Irva Johnson of Oakland, three brothers, Fred of Anaconda, John and Chris, both of Torrlngton; four sisters, Mrs.

Martha Ochsner of Caldwell, Idaho, Mrs. Mary Schnell and Mrs. Lena Hensley, both of Torrlngton, Mrs. Rosie Abel of Casper, Mrs. Eva Mecheam of Torrlngton; a stepsister, Mrs.

Marie Burback of Casper; a stepbrother, Fred Werkel of Wheatland. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery In Torrlngton. The Colyer Funeral Homne is In charge of arrangements. Bidwell died Monday morning at the Sidney Health Care Center In Sidney, Iowa following a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 9, 1899 In Brighton, Iowa to Harry E.

and Georgia Menefee Bidwell. He married Lillian Hope Allen on 1918 In Brooklyn, Iowa. The family came to Casper In the fall of 1944. Mr. Bidwell was employed by Chicago Burlington Quincy Railroad.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother and his wife, Hope, on Aug. 8, 1964. Survivors include one son, John Alien of Casper; three daughters, Mrs. Dave (Jane) Norman of Moorcroft, Mrs.

Carl (Martha) Welchans of Hamburg, Iowa, and Mrs. Halt it' Crossman PINE BLUFFS Graveside services for Mrs. Hattle M. Crossan, 97, a former resident of Torrlngton, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Pine Bluffs Cemetery.

The Rev. Gary B. Peters of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Mrs. Crossan died Monday at St.

Luke's Hospital in Denver. She was born May 4, 1883 in Humansvllle, the daughter of Luclan Bonapart and Julie Ann Richardson Swingle. She was educated in Missouri and Kansas schools. On Dec. 4, 1907 she married Isaac Joe Crossan in Cneoppa, Kan.

He preceded her in death in 1959. The Crossans began homesteading It miles west of Albin in 1908. They also farmed for many years in the Burns area. In 1947 they moved to Torrlngton, and in 1979 Mrs. Crossan moved to Denver, where she lived near her daughter.

She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed this work In her home. Survivors include one son, Clifford G. Crossan, one daughter, Mrs. Pauline (Leo) Steege of Denver, one granddaughter, Mrs. Gwen Lark of Arvada, and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Burns Ambulance Service. Funeral arrangements are by the Sutley Funeral Chapel of Torrlngton, where friends may call Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday. Alva Johnson THERMOPOLIS Alva Vernle Johnson, 83, died Tesday at Memorial Hospital In Thermopolis. She was born April 6, 1898 in Boulder, Colo, to Wesley and Laura Johnson.

He came to Wyoming at the age of 8, and lived most of his life In Hot Springs County He married Amelia Scheuerman In Worland on Nov. 11, 1922. He was a a retired truck driver for the Charles M. Smith Construction and a member of F.O.E 1884. He is survived by his wife of Thermopolis, three daughters, Irene Johnson of Eugene, Mrs.

Ruby Talovlch of Layton, Utah, and Mrs. JoAnn Love of Thermopolis, four brothers, Ernie and Melvin both of Oregon, and Earl and Bill of Thermopolis, two sisters, Mrs. hazel Proudflt of Salem Ore. and Mrs. Delpha Wigham of Elmira, four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son his parents and three brothers. Services win be held 10 a.m. Friday at Mortimore Chapel in Thermopolis, with pastor Dan bimell of the Zion Lutheran Church of Worland officiating. Burial will be at Monument Hill Cemetery. MAIN AVKHHI PAY! TOMLA 1.4712I.

Crystal was born Feb. 11, 1974 In Douglas. Bob Ellevold The date of birth of Bob Ellevold, who died Monday in Casper, was stated Incorrectly in his obituary, which appeared in Wednesday's Casper Star-Tribune. She was born June 15, 1901 in Seattle. She married Joseph Ernst Sept 30, 1933 In Seattle. She had retired from radio and tv activities this april with the sale of KWRB Television In Thermopolis.

She became associated with radio in 1923, and was manager of KTOW, the Powell radio station in 1944 and 1945. In 1948 she started a radio station in Worland, KWOR, In 1950 In Rlverton KWRL, In 1952 KGOS In Torringtron, and in 1955 KRTR in Thermopolis, where she opened KWRB-TVlnl955. She Is survived by ber husband of Thermopolis, one son Karl Kertson, of Thermopolis, one daughter Mrs. Bonnie Sprague of Casper, 6 grandchildren, and 3 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded In death by one son Phillip.
