1952. Obituaries EmilLense Emit Lense, 79, late of 508 W. Northwest Arlington died January 17. Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a. at the Lutheran Home and Service for the Aged in Arlington Heights.

Rev. John Kempf officiated. Interment Concordia cemetery. Black's Memorial Home wns in charge of arrangements. Mr.

Lense was born October 27, 1872, in Germany. He had been a resident of the Lutheran Home and Service for the Aged for 14 years. Survivors include: two broth- era, Edwin and Max of Chicago; a brother-in-law, A. C. Hooke of Mt.

Prospect, and two nieces, Mrs. R. R. Little and Miss Lorraine Hooke. A sister, Mrs, A.

C. Hooke, preceded him in death, George Bohlin Silas John Nordmeier Funeral will be held SatuHay at 2 p. m. for Silas John Nordmeier, 07. late of 121 W.

Robertson Palatine, at Salem Evangelical United Brethren church. Rev. Lester Gehrlng will officiate. Interment Hillside cemetery. Tharp's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Nordmeier died Wednesday morning at the Economy Fuse and Manufacturing Co. of Palatine where he was employed as a watchman. Mr. Nordmeier born 18.

1884, In Pala- George Bohlin, 55, died January 22 in the Veterans' hospital In Colo. He had been in the hospital four months. Mr. Bohlin lived at 814 Highland Arlington Heights, and in Palatine and Prospect Heights for the last 20 years. He was born April 3, 1896.

in Sweden and married Martha Blomgren of Wilnvtte June 19, 1926. Mr. Bohlin, a bricklayer, was a pnst commander of Palatine American Legion Post 690. Survivors Include: his wife. Martha; two daughters, Mrs.

El Kumler of Denver, Mrs. Ardes Jingle of Arling- nn Heights; his mother, Mrs ''inelia Erlckson of Arlington k-ights; two Oscar Isaacson of Chicago and Ernest Isaacson of Skokie, and two sis- tens. Mrs. Marie Johnson of Des Plaines and Mrs. Walborg Cherwin of Arlington Heights.

After the noise of falling wood died down the results of the evening's contests were all in, Pin Picks' lead was chopped down enough so that the Village News team was only three games out of first place. Village News came up by virtue of three wins and Pin Picks three lost games. Village News, led by their captain, Ethel Dehlinger, crashing into the sticks for 515, easily won three games from Reids Apparel Shop.

Fran Frauenholz had an odd series, 119 then 167 and back again with 115. For Reid's, Evelyn Mensching was the top kegler, 425 pins falling. Dorothy Matson started out like she was going places with 193, but that was all, no more high counts. Florence Boiling reached her 150 in one game. Reher Motors proved they are a team that will have to be considered as potential league leaders, their three game win over Pin Picks gives them high rating.

Mary Jane Grobe led Reher Motors with 207, 130, 147, 484. Val Weiberg was a bit surprised seeing her count go as high as it did, 465. Litz Leicier looked at her 135 game, then proceeded to hit the sticks right for 178. Grace Grobe would have had a good series, but her first game messed up things. Evie Baumgartner hit the best for the Pin Pickers, 459.

Marge Kiewicz waited until the last game for a good count, 181. Ethel Forke was off the pocket most of the time. Carol Milstreich had nothing on her ball, it faded before it reached the triangle. York Tavern won three from Main Liquor, Jo Krueger tossing her ball for 480, Virginia Shebeck has been reaching her best count in the last game for some time. Last time out it was 170.

Bernice Malina keeps her count over the 400 mark and has not gotten over the 500 mark this season. Jean Leek's strikes and spares were scat tercd all over the score sheet. Jean Biefeld's 435 was the high count for Main Liquor. Katn- crine Earhart had 150 sticks down in her high single. Emmy Andres and G.

Sell did not do so well with two throws a frame, rules prohibit more than two. Bensenville Hardware won the odd from Geils Funeral Home it being Lucille Hintz with the power ball, 522 wootren men falling for her. Muriel Robertson with her first game reaching 161 could not get more than 408 for three. Dorothy Grobe was able to get enough strikes for her usual good count. Beata Kehoe had that perfect pocket ball of hers going toward the end of the last game.

Bertha Kufke, at 2085 Miner Des Plaines, for the last several months, and he had spent most of his life living in Arlington Heights. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Lauterburg and Oehler funeral chapel in Arlington Heights at 2 p. m. Rev. William F.

Kamphenkel officiated. Interment Town of Maine cemetery. Mr. Kerber was born' October 10, 1894, in Germany and to this country in 1906. Survivors include: two brothers, Carl and Max.
